Having now played through all of Witcher 2 and half of Witcher 3 I dont think there is a distinct bad v good in its decisions like say Mass Effect. Its more a grey area, you make decisions based on what you know or what you hope will turn out for the best but sometimes those decisions will lead to "bad" things happening, much more like life itself.
you hope for the best always but that just doesnt always happen.
pretty much, many say that in witcher 3 you mostly choose either the lesser or greater evil.
I feel like not one of my decisions so far(main/side quests) turned out "good".
At the very beginning there was this guy who carried corpses around, i helped him and gave him good advice.
A week later i see him again...and he is sick, so much that i decided to end his suffering.
Another one is the black pearl quest, that seemed to be hopefull.
At times it feels to me a bit forced when they let you choose, just for you to find out later that it didnt really mattered in the long shot.
By now i got used to this, instead of trying to be the hero, i just try to choose the smarter choice.
Im in skellige and there is this quest called in the heart of the woods i think.
Its a quest that seems to have two completely different paths to choose, im not sure what to do.
Do i go with the guy who promises me money and sees that its not more then a monster.
Or do i go with the old guy who thinks this monster is some kind of spirit that gives the people in the village strength and all that.
