^ The TV show didn't appear on TV. I think a bullet was dodged, especially since Superman+Batman will probably have a better WW for audiences to enjoy.
^ It's sad when Bruan's got a better design than Hollywood.
No. Thank God. However, it got far to close to getting put on the small screen. SMH.Wait, that actually appeared on TV?
The costume designer should never work again.

Exactly! What was David Kelley smoking? It's sad when the 70s WW costume looks better than the 2011 version.

So did the 70's WW.
She is literally one of the most stunning women I've ever seen. She is a league all her own so you can't really compare the two. It's not like Adrianne isn a hatchet face or something. So did the 70's WW.
I think WW is a character that has really gotten shafted in the costume department. I find her costume is more often bad than it is good. From that horrible pilot outfit to those tiny briefs in the comics, it's just unfortunate. I've seen many manips that are more than acceptable, but it seems the fans are better at costuming her at times than comic artists and Hollywood. Hopefully this will be different.
the fans are the one complaining when they try to take way the shorts
I think we already talked about this once before. I don't want to get much into it again, but I wonder who these fans are and why they don't want tiny briefs? Hmmm.
And many people on here post less skimpy costumes.
I don't know...but I know that every time they try to take them away there is an uproar and they switch back.
I don't remember any uproar, but I'll take your word for it. And there was an uproar about supe's trunks and here we are. And maybe they should do some research and see who's complaining and why. And are people really going to boycott this movie because ww isn't barely clothed? Not likely. The people who need nudey chicks can go "read" playboy.

Admittedly, Palicki was in the more traditional WW outfit by the end of the pilot, but it still didn't look as good as the 70s costume.
It's kind of a shame now that Tanit Phoenix didn't get the WW role for that pilot. Yes, she would've been awful (as heard from her audition), but at least it wouldn't have sullied Palicki's chances of ever playing WW.
But in any event, I'm glad that Gal got the role. She is in a class above Palicki.
Fans want to see the characters the way they are in the comics. No one is wanting to see her in her comics costume to keep women down.
Remember people b****** and moaned about the Kelley TV show costume and they changed and added the shirts bottoms.
The same reason people still complain about Superman not wearing briefs anymore (and yeah I hate that change too). Cause it's simply the traditional outfit. by the by, if someone wants to know just how bad the WW Pilot was http://blip.tv/radio-dead-air/wonder-woman-2011-a-review-5888251
I just don't believe that anyone goes to see this kind of movie to jerk off.
Comic book fans tend to like tradition and dislike reinvention. I bet that's why the classic Lynda Carter costume still had so many fans. I doubt it is about wanting objectify women.

Right, then if this is no different than the usual "comic fans hate change" shenanigans, who cares about this "uproar" you're on about. Many other things have been changed despite complaints, so why would this be any different?
