BvS The Wonder Woman Costume Thread - Part 5

Superman doesn't have a lot of yellow/gold, so I don't see why it's an issue. Gold looks more "royal" IMO. Much better than the silver, if you ask me.

I don't mind it either way. I prefer the traditional palette though I was just spit balling ideas while I was making modifications to the concept. :yay:

Correct. My initial thought process came from something like this:

or this:

While not "skin tight" it is rather form fitting.
Also a better look at my WW design.
Does anyone else like the "white looking" metal for WW. It would differentiate her more from Supes so I don't mind it.

Not digging the scale armor for WW, but that stuff is an absolute must when/if they do Aquaman.

Yes, I think that's what the orange stuff he wears is supposed to be.

Oh I'm only talking about the look not necessarily the material. The material in my mind looks more like this only blue:

And I agree about Aquaman! I was actually thinking the same thing when I posted those images (that they would look great for him). I want to make a manip with that material for both.

It looks like some sort of battle armor perfect for aquaman most definitely.

Check out the pants material in this pic, Jaymes.

^Yes! That's exactly what I'm thinking. Thank you for bringing that to my attention MrsKent!

SIDENOTE: I love both of those designs.

Me too. I think aside from adding straps to the top with the pants, they are perfect.

It does needs straps and my design also incorporated this star design. Add them both and it truly would look perfect IMO.

Really love this coloring too.

Oh totally. I don't mind either. Tho, the silver looks really.... Dated to me for some reason. Like, really 90s

Thank you Jo-An. I think having longer shorts but cropping them at an angle to make them more 'panty-like' while surrounding them with a long battleskirt is the best way to go, as shown by my modifications ;)
It really was an improvement. Good job.
Whoa, John-An. You are a costume ninja, lol.

My favorite ones you posted are these. I almost didn't see them amongst all the larger ones, but after looking at them more closely, they're pretty much perfect. I would add straps to the top of the pants one, but besides that I wouldn't change a thing. These are beautiful, classy, modern, appropriate for her character, and are pretty much exactly what I want to see. I don't know how/where you found all these, but well done.

That's great. This is a good vibe for her. She looks powerful and not like a model/Playboy bunny that stumbled into trouble. This look is more "wonder woman" than her "traditional" look, if you ask me. This makes sense.

I agree. There are some good pants designs out there, so I hope pants are still a possibility.
Deviantart :D one first and the other came easily. Yep most of the costumes don't have straps (the only detail that needs improvement if you ask me).

I think both are good options. But with a little difference I'm with gold and silver bracelets.

Interesting concept for an else worlds story! The costume totally works though.
I think the only thing I would change is the top over the dress. cause the dress is taking away the impact of the top IMO. But it's a good concept.

Nice one  I think they are going to use some rare materials as this one you posted. Knowing Snyder the materials would be special.

All credit to the original creator. I just wanted to have a version that had silver bracelets, and straps, so I edited it myself with RealWorldpaint.com free software. I think this would please everyone, and flatter Gal at all the right places, and look fantastic in real life.

Really love this coloring too.

Awesome. I like the blonde one and Donna Troy's outfit the best here.

This is my favorite out of this bunch. The mid-section just needs some modification.

I keep telling myself it's fan art, but that's such a neat look for WW. It'd be a shame to not have it used in cartoons :)

I'm loving this thread. I never knew there were so many Wonder Woman concepts out there.

I really dig the red loin cloth over blue tights. I just wish I could see a really good manip of something like that. This concept really stands out.

For example, apply the concept to this, with an eagle belt and the WW symbol hanging at the bottom of the loin cloth. To me, that would be awesome.

I agree. I'd love to see that in cartoons.

I also agree. I'd like to see it in the cartoons AND in the comics. It's a nice and simple design, but still true to Wonder Woman's origins while providing a more practical costume which also honours her Amazonian origins.

It's somewhat similar to the costume they used in JLA: Trapped in Time which I really liked (and which seems tailor made for a live action adaptation):

That is a great costume! Thanks for bringing that up, haephestus.

I wouldn't mind this material for her costume.

Yep I agree. I want something similar in a new JL cartoon :woot:

Yep Agreed. Just I love how the shoulder is attached to the top.
Why Donna's costume is the best of them all? :argh:
