Well guys, I know you have a rule against signing up for two different characters, but I'd really like to ask if you could bend the rules for me just this once. First, my first application, which I think is pretty obvious.

DC RPG Season IV Application:

Screen Name: Hyper Venom

Character you would like to play: Zoom

Powers: Manipulation of time, thus giving the illusion of superspeed

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): Um...I suppose you could say the Society

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:
1. He's evil but he thinks he's good.
2. I never finished the story I started with him last season.
3. He's mine, damnit!

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you think you can bring to the RPG:

I can bring complete and utter mayhem to the RPG. Forget what you saw last season, because Zoom's returning with a vengeance this time.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: 5 times a day, hopefully

Color and font you plan on using for your characters speech (Might not be applicable but it makes the roster pretty): This one!

How did you find out about this game, Recruitment thread/word of post/seeing the RPG OOC/IC thread? I saw the links in a bunch of peoples' sigs. Figured I'd see what all the hubbub was about.

1. It's funny.
2. It hasn't been done before.
3. I think I was high when I came up with this idea.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you think you can bring to the RPG: I honestly don't know. I was just watching some old episodes of Super Friends and it sounded like a funny idea. Twy and I joked about it and then I thought maybe I should actually do it.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: Once. At the end of each day (or, at the end of each "episode", if you will). Possibly in the middle of the day as well (the "commercial break").

Color and font you plan on using for your characters speech (Might not be applicable but it makes the roster pretty): I guess I'll use the normal font and color. Might use italics for anytime I feel like being particularly melodramatic.

Of course...I watched the Adam West Batman,and I was one of the few that enjoyed The Superfriends,so...My opinion is biased.

What I enjoy most about writing Slade is that he's totally in it for himself, he doesnt feel like he has an obligation to either side.

Sorry, who made you the greatest RPGer ever?

No one? I never said I was...I've even named off who I think are the best.

Everyone has the potential to be good RPGer. However some are on the learning level, and the better RPGer's can guide them along, but when we try to we get stuff like you said.

I mean I hope we did okay helping you along. You've really grown as an RPGer since you first started.
I hope all my PM's to you weren't wasted.

If he actually said that, then he's talking out of his ass. Hell, sometimes I think we're a little too organized.

We aren't that organized..we keep the roster and that's about it...we aren't leading the stories at all.

Also I think he was used to more structure, meaning the fights went on for day's giving everyone a turn to post.

Aside from The Flash himself,There's Martian Manhunter,Green Lantern(John Stewart),Superboy(Conner Kent),Kid Flash,Plastic Man,Elongated Man,Metamorpho,The Atom,and Red Tornado,just to name a few.

Okay,new question.

Is there a chance that Savage will be back sometime this upcoming season,though?

Because if so...I could drop Harvey,for now,and take over as The Flash,until Savage has returned,in which case I'll be completely happy to hand the role back to him(After all...The man IS The Flash,as far as this game goes.).Then,If Two-Face is taken by the time I'm out of the role,I could sign up as Martian Manhunter.And if both are taken,then...Well,I'm screwed.

But if we really,really need a Flash,I'd be willing to give it a shot...

Just a few points.

First - OMGZ! Teh Hyper Venom izz bakk! TEH AWESOME!!!!111

Second - Master Bruce, I have to say I was looking forward to seeing your portrayal of Two-Face. It would be nice getting to work together rather than always being arch enemies.

Third - I'm quite surprised at all the talk of there not being enough villains. I was laying out the groundwork for my arc this season (as I usually do around this time) and I was very impressed not only with the roster of villains we have, but the veteran players we have RPing as them. If anything, we need to be on the hunt for more heroes!

I sorta jumped the gun when I expressed intrest in playing The Flash,cause I was under the impression that Savage hadn't even been on the Hype for MONTHS.I checked,though,and he was just on a little over a week ago.

I PM'ed him about Flash(After taking twy's advice,like I should've done.),explaining my idea,asking him if it would be okay,ect.

But...The Flash thing isn't a definate.It's just sort of a slight possibility,at this point.Even if I do get the approval to take over as Wally from Savage,I'm only going to be The Flash for a very limited time,until Savage returns.(After all,He'd be better at this than I would.)

So...Right now,I still am going to be Two-Face.I just wanted to help the game out,since it seemed like The Flash was really needed,here.
