First post up. What do ya'll think?

Alright, first of all, let's get my name right - I was born in '83, not '92...hence my screenname of glfan83. I have been on since November and have been keeping tabs on the RPG but never saw a suitable place to jump in.

Second, I only talk out of my ass when I eat Mexican food. And I didn't have any when I was PMing Red X. I had Greek that day. My comments are more in regard to what seems to be constant bickering and in-fighting amongst AGMs and members. I don't need to add extra drama to my life on a message board RPG, for God's sakes. Now, if I have the wrong idea or if I've simply misread some things, someone please feel free to correct me.

The one thing that I do still stick by, however, is my judgement about the maturity of this group. Granted, there are many members who play as they should and with great writing and creativity. That I enjoy. Then there are others who do not seem to play in a manner such that I would enjoy playing with them. Unfortunately, Red X is my example in this case: the private conversation that we had should've stayed just that - private. If I felt the need to share my opinions on the RPG publicly, I would've done so. I do not appreciate what I intended to be privately held opinions spread across the board for all to see. In fact, I was waiting to see if the RPG was actually improving in my eyes and I was thisclose to signing up again...until I saw Red X's post.

I understand that this is not a situation where you need players so bad that you have to kiss my rear to get me to sign up (although if you do, I may talk out of it), but this situation just further solidifies in my mind that I may not be right for this RPG. I am open to suggestion and discussion, however. As you can see, I am an agreeable and understanding person and I'm not angered by any of this. Please feel free to contact me about any of this, although know that if I send you PMs, I don't expect their contents to be repeated.

Alright, I understand your reasoning now, and I actually do apologise for my outburst since it wasn't for the reasons that I thought it was for.

And another thing, you shouldn't feel "extra drama" from what players say to eachother in this thread. Sure, I've made friends and also gotten a couple people upset at me, but I rarely take what people say about me personally in here too seriously. If I put an hour or two's worth of work into a post and some of the other players don't like it, no big deal. I'm not going to cry myself to sleep or think about quitting because I still have fun posting. As you said, it's a messageboard. I'm never going to meet any of my fellow players in person, so I don't really worry about their opinions of me too much. As long as their hate doesn't effect our working relationship in the RPG and I still enjoy posting, then there's no reason to give a sweat about it.

But when I got wind that you had possibly called the RPG unorganized, then yeah, I admit that I got pissed, because that's not personal, but rather against the whole game in general and the work we've put into it. Underdeveloped? I misinterpreted that, I guess. I admit that I bicker with Twy occasionally, and I don't know about her, but I don't take most of what we write too seriously. It is a game, after all, and the point is to have fun.

Oh no. We've had a few disagreements, sure, some varying in scope and others can be the simple matter of perspective, but that's no reason to hate or dislike somebody at all. I enjoy working with just about everyone here quite a bit.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you think you can bring to the RPG: I’ve brought quite a bit to these games. I’ve played (and played well) characters like Dr. Strange, Beast, Superman, the Riddler, the Lizard, Wonder Woman, Mr. Immortal, the Silver Surfer and Loki. That’s a hell of a resume if I do say so myself.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: Once. Maybe more, but given my current situation, that’s about it for a while.

Color and font you plan on using for your characters speech (Might not be applicable but it makes the roster pretty): I will use Dark Red coloring and Arial Black font.

How did you find out about this game, Recruitment thread/word of post/seeing the RPG OOC/IC thread? Wayyy back in Season I of the Marvel game, Silver Sable let me in on this little bit of Hype phenomenon and I’ve been here since.

There's a difference between answering their questions and exactly stating what I said. There wasn't a need to share my specific reasons for leaving - it would have been sufficient to say that I had and leave it at that. Repeating what I said is just starting trouble....

Regardless, I am not upset or angry and I don't hold any grudges. I am, however, just slightly busy and kinda sick. So if I am to post an application, it won't be just yet. I need some bounce-back time...

Please allow me to clarify myself even further - by no means have I underestimated the amount of work and effort that goes into something like this. I don't think it's trivial and I don't think you all are simply puttering around either. I suppose my expectations were set just a bit too high to begin with, which really isn't fair and I realize that.

So my thought is: apologies all around - water under the bridge.
