Best Developed Character has always been around since the first RPG awards. I was sad to see it dropped on recent lists in favour of less relevant awards like "Best Multiplayer Character".
And on another note, thanks for all the Award Nominations. You're making me feel bad for dropping Black Adam!

Yea...I think I'm not going to to best multiplayer character; that just sounds odd. I'm keeping best developed char though when I re-post my full award thing though; that award makes more sense.

1. I just didn't have the time to commit to two characters.
2. The JSA arc myself and Purple Man were planning fell through, because all the members we were going to recruit either quit, or got tied up in other arcs.
3. I was essentially bluffing with Black Adam. I know very little of the Captain Marvel universe, and have only became a Black Adam fan since around the time of Infinite Crisis. I'm much more comfortable playing The Joker, as twisted as that sounds.

Best Multiplayer Character was only for the Anniversary awards I had suggested we do. The awards were to span all the seasons within the year, and Multiplayer Character was to recognize the few characters that had been played exceptionally by multiple players. Best Developed is a far better award IMO.
Best Hero:
I'll have to go with Trusty's Aquaman--you took a character that I honestly, didn't really give much of a crap about and made him very interesting. Kudos, good sir. Best Heroine:
Without a second thought, Twy's Black Canary--I'm pretty sure you've been playing her since the beginning of this joint, and you still haven't lost steam. I gotta hand it do you there. You're a brilliant, sexy lady who truely deserves actual writing deals, rather than hanging around us strange geeks. Best Villain:
Sorry, LT, but I have a bias--and his name is The Joker. This is truely the most psychotic, evil version of the Clown Prince of Crime I've ever seen, anywhere else--and quite possibly the best version I've ever seen. Keep up the good work, and I hope and pray that Batman can kick the crap out of ya very soon... Best Fight:
The slam down, slobberknocker currently occuring, with Darkseid vs. all-comers. Some epic s**t there, my friends. Best Story Arc:
It's a tie between the following:
Q's conspiracy arc. It had to be paused for Darkseid (damn him and his importance ), but I can't wait to see it completed...it'll truely be the start of a new chapter, my friends, just you see...
Jason Todd: I wasn't sure at first how he would work, since we kinda already had a Red Hood saga here, but he's done some great stuff with the character, some great story-arcs, and I can't wait until Jason meets a certain bat... Best Rivalry:
I have to say that the grudge between Scarecrow and Black Canary appears to be some cool-ass stuff. Can't wait to see where that goes. Best Newcomer:
Again, another tie:Twilight Knight: Love his stuff with Zaurel, cool stuff there. You seem to got the character down pat, and I just hope that my character will interact with ya at some point.
Trustysidekick: I've already mentioned Aquaman and Jason, so I'll just say kudos and hope you only get better with your stuff.
Here is my re-done Awards Nominations. Some things may or may not have been changed when I re-did it since there were more awards to go out and some I was unaware of before. Although, I feel these awards could've been better (more competitive) had this Season not had those bumps of inactivity.

BEST HERO
While MB has done an incredible job bringing Supes back from life...I'm going to have to go with my Aquaman. From the feedback I've gotten...people seem to really enjoy it. I am so happy to see that I've gotten people to look past the scenario of him being "the guy who talks to fish". Too many people don't understand the potential this atlantean king has...I hope I've perhaps even gotten people more interested in him. I've had so much fun with this character; while I was at first sad when SF dropped him before his first post...I'm kinda happy since I got to do so much with him. BESTHEROINE Twy's Black Canary. She's been doing so well with Dinah dealing with coming back and slowly letting us know what happened while she was "gone"...and she's really gotten me into Dinah. Because of twy's writing, she's really gotten me interested in Black Canary; before I didn't know much about her but now I want to. I think that means a lot so I tip my hat off to twy for her Black Canary; she makes me want to get into BC.
BEST VILLAIN
While I haven't seen everything unravel yet...I'm going to go with MST3K 4ever's Lex Luthor. With all of those sublte, secretive (he reveals stuff but only so much that it's really interesting), back-stabbing things that he has been setting up lately...he's the villain I am most anxious to see what happens next with his arc(s). BEST DEVELOPED CHARACTER If Keyser never stopped playing Black Adam...I'm 100% positive he would be recieving his nomination by me. So, with that in mind...the next choices that came to mind was wiegeabo's Sinestro and SF's Martian Manhunter; that's right, I'm doing a tie. I didn't know much about J'onn to be honest, and to see his family-man side was really interesting and got me interested in the character (as twy has with BC). Wiegeabo has done a great job showing Sinestro's transition from villain to hero along with showing how everyone else has reacted during his struggle to change.
BEST FIGHT
I had an incredible amount of fun working with every-single post of Jason's involving some type of combat. Since I'm so familiar with fighting and different styles and stuff...it was incredibly enjoyable. But, if I had to choose 1 fight out of the ones I've done...it would be the one against Robin (Tim Drake) in the alley; nothing epic or earth-shattering...just doing that fight felt like I was playing Batman. Part of the reason I have so much fun with Jason is because if you think about it...he is like a Batman who isn't afraid to fight dirty at all. And everytime I get to write a fight scene with Jason...I re-read em over and over again after being posted; satisfied.
BEST STORY ARC
I wasn't around during the time Dinah (in disguise) took over Gotham. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it a lot. That said...I have a feeling that this stuff brewing up between Scarecrow and Dinah is going to be a huge hit. I hope that counts...cause I think that is going to become an amazing storyline; the two of them fighting over the power of Gotham. I was thinking about giving it to the Degaton/Amazo arc or the Q Conspiracy one had they both not become inactive; lost their effectiveness; sorry guys. BESTDUO I think this would have to go to Franklin Richard's Hal Jordan and Batman's Green Arrow. I really enjoyed seeing them post together at the beginning of the season. I only hope that Franklin comes back and Batman becomes more active again so we can see more from this duo. BESTRIVALRY From what I've seen presented so far...not many rivalries that I am aware of that have been going on or shown in this Season so far. BESTCOMEDICPOST I cannot recall a post that has made me laugh. BESTDRAMATICPOST Keyser's Black Adam post where he kills the pedophile. Before I nominated this as what I thought was the best post. However, I re-thought it all and realized that the reason I enjoyed the post so much was the impact it had on me while reading it. Thus is why I give it this award.
BEST POST
Before, I had a nomination for this post. But, this was also when there were less awards I presented. When it came down to more specific post-related awards, I figured it out. I feel this type of award is more appropriate at the end of the Season when we can look back at the entire Season.
BEST NEWCOMER
Not being biased...but man I had a lot of fun working with guitarsingerguy since he joined up. It was funny, cause I was about to write up the post where Tempest's part came in and then he applied and we talked and he became the player for him. That first night we did like 20 posts with eachother back-to-back; good times. Hopefully, he can I can do stuff as Garth and Orin in the near future; depends in what direction he wants to go after one last lil thing. t:
MVP I'm not exactly sure who would recieve this award. For a while I was thinking about LT's Darkseid because of his set up, and how he played it out and especially his dialogue. When reading his dialogue it was almost as if the voice actor from STAS/JL/JLU for Darkseid was talking; truly awesome. However, I feel the same way I did about Best Post award when I really began to think about it. To me, this is an award to be given at the end of the Season.
-------------------------------
Although, I really did mean it before about how this could've been better. It kinda sucks that I gotta overlook people simply cause of inactiveness or not much progression; I strongly feel that if you lose the flow, people lose interest and it isn't as effective. But...I don't wanna stir up an arguement; just my opinion. I hope the rest of the Season proves to be incredibly active.
Are we not allowed to? Sorry, this is my first time doing these awards. Last time I didn't but I saw other people do it.
What I'm confused with is as to why it's a problem; I saw people last season nominate themselves for stuff. And as you can tell I put a lot of thought into this all so not like I'm being some jerk or cocky or a prick.
Best Hero: Tie. I give it to both trusty-sidekick (Aquaman) and SuperFerret (Martian Manhunter)
I never, not once, thought Aquaman would ever be in contention for this. But trusty's done something with the character that's brought him from the depths of cheesiness to the pinnacle of badass. Anyone who can do that with a character needs to be commended.
SF, on the other hand, probably was the most true to a heroic character with his spot-on rendition of Martian Manhunter. Especially in those last two posts... They, above all, proved why even after all this time, SF is still one of the greats that this RPG has to offer.
Best Heroine: ...Who else? twylight (Black Canary)
From her interactions in the beginning of the season between Mia, Roy, Lian, the evil clone, and The Justice League, to her extremely well-written backstory about where Dinah arrived when she 'died' in Season II... It's all been a real treat to read, aswell as being something the umphed the quality of the game as a whole.
Best Villain: While I had the full intention of giving this to LT's Darkseid, my inner Bat-fan chose this one instead: Keyser Soze (The Joker)
I portray The Joker in another RPG. While I've tried to be as sick and demented as possible, I know one thing... I'll never even dare to be as sick and twisted as Keyser. His Joker is a truly on the spot, homicidal maniac gorefest to read. And it's absolutely true of The Clown Prince Of Crime. Keyser's done the greatest villain in comics proud, time and time again... And it doesn't seem that he'll fizzle out anytime soon.
Best Multiplayer Character: trustyside-kick (Jason Todd/Aquaman)
I was skeptical when Jason Todd was taken up. I admit it. And I don't think there are many here that weren't. But trusty's made the character both enjoyable to read, and all his own at the same time. I hope to hell he doesn't quit playing this character anytime soon... I want a battle royale between the two former Robins, dammit.
And as for Aquaman, I've already said what I had to say. So kudos to him.
Best Fight: Darkseid vs. Earth
Now I get to grovel on and on about how great LT's Seid is. Let me just start out to say that, coming from experience, I think it's very challenging to take on a character that big and that powerful. Especially if he's a villain. Well, not for LT, as evidenced by every post he makes. He's truly brought the absolute best villain The JLA could ever need reason to reform against to the RPG, and he's done it with style. I've enjoyed working with him on this arc, and will probably continue to enjoy it for the remainder of the season.
Best Story Arc: What else? The Anti-Life Equation arc.
Discounting myself, reading back on the arc, I think the entire incident has brought out some really great character moments from damn near everyone involved. LT's Darkseid, JRK's Batman, Supergirl's... Supergirl, Batman's Ollie, trusty's Aquaman, GL's Arsenal... The quality has all been kicked up a notch with this larger than life battle worthy of the comics themselves. Great job to everyone involved.
Best Duo: ...Not to toot my own horn, but I really still enjoy my Nightwing interactions with GL's Arsenal. Infact, that's probably one of the main reasons I've kept playing Dick.
Plus, come on. You know we rock.
Best Rivalry: Hmm. Well, Darkseid and Aquaman seem to be a good set of enemies, judging from trusty and LT's posts. But aside from that, no real rivalries come off the top of my head. Though I am interested to see where this thing with wieg's Sinestro and Jay Garrick goes.
The Joker sang cheerfully to himself as he tapped his hands against the steering wheel of the schoolbus. He'd pulled the bus over into an old, derelict plot of land. He was singing to ease the boredom really. To be honest, he'd expected a certain someone to try and stop him by now. Gotham City's crimefighting standards had clearly slipped. And doing this kinda thing just wasn't as fun when there was no challenge in it.
But all the same, he'd have his fun.
The Joker hopped to his feet, spinning round to face all the little children in their seats.
"I've got this feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeling,
So appeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealing,
For us to get together and sing - SING!"
The Joker clapped his hands, as if gesturing all the kids to sing along. But they weren't going to be singing. Every single passenger on this bus was dead, their young, innocent faces corrupted in death, twisted into The Joker's monstrous Venom-induced grin.
The Joker grabbed the corpse of one sweet little girl - she couldn't have been older than 7, and began waltzing around the bus with her, the lifeless legs flailing wildly through the air as The Joker twirled through the cramped bus in his macabre dance of death.
"It grows in buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunches,
I've got my huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunches,
It's the BEST! - "
With all the momentum of his twirls behind him, The Joker let go of the girl's corpse, sending it slamming into the bus window. The body slumped lifelessly on top of another young corpse, leaving the window cracked, and a smear of blood on its surface.
"- Beats the REST!
Cellular, modular, interactive-odular!
Ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring, banana phone,"
The Joker began stepping backwards towards the front of the bus, clicking his fingers as he boogied away.
The Joker took glee at the thought of the procession of parents at the morgue, lined up as if they were queueing for a ride at a theme park, waiting to identify their little darlings. Oh, how they'd scream and cry when they saw those grins looking back at them. The Joker wished he could be a fly on the wall there!
"It's no balooooooooooooooney,
It ain't a phony!"
With a well placed kick at the "emergency release" button, the bus-door swung open.
"My cellular, BANANULAR PHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!"
The Joker finished with jazz hands, then took a bow before his eternally-captive audience. Then, with wild, triumphant laughter, he hopped out the door, and into a car he had parked nearby. It was time to cause some more gleeful pain and heartbreak. And maybe this time, he'd get someone's attention...
Best Dramatic Post: Since to nominate one of LT's post would require nominating all of them, I decided to give it to a post that most recently entertained me...
The main storage room was vast and filled with various boxes and containers. I can hear Samantha's sobs as I enter. Scanning the room both visually and mentally, I quickly locate her. She sits in the middle of the room, tied to a chair as if this were a hostage situation in an old movie. A-Mortal, whom I know is here, is nowhere to be found. Somehow, he has eluded my many senses.
I crouch down behind Samantha, cutting her bonds free while I whisper comforting things to her. A-Mortal chooses this moment to make himself known, as I hear the sound of a humanoid dropping to the ground behind me. I bring my cape around Sami, wrapping her in a kind of papuse to protect her as I turn to face...
Batman?
"I am not fooled by your charade, A-Mortal. Nor will I forgive what you've done." I say, clenching my fists.
"You're not fooled, J'onzz?" he replies incredulously in Bruce's voice, "Then why are you cradling a corpse?"
His response startles me, and then the realization dawns. I feel Samantha with my cape, she is cold, unmoving, unliving. The sobs, the tears, the pink color in her cheeks when I found her, all were transmitted into my brian by A-Mortal in a cruel attempt to fool me.
"She died the instant you had slain my man on the roof."
"YOU MURDERING BASTARD!"
I backhand him across the jaw, sending him flying back through some of the various packages and boxes in the room. Rage fill my mind, and I see red. Quite literally.
"YOU MONSTER!" I scream as I unleash my eye-beams upon his prone form, using them at their fullest intenstiy. "YOU MURDERED A CHILD! AN INNOCENT CHILD!"
I descend upon him, raining down blows that would cow even Superman, punctuating each strike with a single word.
"YOU."
"WILL."
"PAY."
"IN."
"BLOOD!'
Amazingly, he keeps his Batman form as the beating continues, impressing me with his resolve. He smiles, and begins to cackle with glee. I don't realize what he's doing before it's too late.
[BLACKOUT]"Goodbye J'onn J'onzz."[/BLACKOUT]
An incendiary bomb goes off in close proximity to us, and I quickly realize that A-Mortal himself set it off. I roll across the floor, aflame and near panicking, trying to extinguish the infernal flame. Once they die down, I use the last of my strength to pull myself to my feet and face A-Mortal.
But he was no more than a scorched stain upon the floor.
"Damn you, White Martian, for stealing your death from me." I say, adding, "And thank you for taking your blood off of my hands."
I sit for two hours, regaining my strength after the final confrontation with the White Martians, and staring mournfully at the second little girl I had failed to save. This planet no longer needs me.
I lift Samantha's body, wrapping her gently in a blanket I find in one of the broken boxes. My next stop is to the city morgue, where I explain the entire situation. My obvious grief seems to prevent the police from questioning my story. After all is sorted, I take my leave.
Flying upwards, high into the sky, I move at supersonic speeds, rapidly nearing escape velocity. Farewell planet Earth, you third world from the star we both share. I have loved you dearly, and you were my home for a bit, but now I must return to my world, where I truly belong. Mars, Malecaandra, my home.
Best Post: Hard to decide. So many great ones by LT, the one I have above by SF, a few posts by Keyser, another few by trusty, quite a few of twy's, and even one of JRK's come up when I think of "Best Post". But few greater than the other. So I'll just say... you people rock out with your ****s out.
Best Newcomer: guitarsingerguy (Tempest)
I didn't think that someone could fit so well into the duo of Nightwing and Arsenal. But gsg's Tempest proved me wrong. He's taken a character I know next to nothing about and made me like him. That's usually the kind of RPGing that gets a vote from me.
MVP: LT. For every reason listed above, aside from the fact that he fashioned the entire huge arc that's brought everyone into an interacting, fighting frenzy of superpowered goodness.
Are we not allowed to? Sorry, this is my first time doing these awards. Last time I didn't but I saw other people do it.

I wouldn't say that it's not allowed--it's just kinda of an ass-holeish thing to do, you know?
Best hero/heroine is kinda like the best actor/actress bit in any Acadmy awards show. Like, if I felt this season Bats did the best stuff here (not really, but as an example), I wouldn't feel right to nominate myself.
I mean, there must have been other characters that were worthy of Best Hero, right?

Exactomondo. I've always considered the awards to be the chance to praise other players. I mean I don't even take myself into consideration when writting my awards.

Yeah, I mean, I can understand if, say, you have the Dark Allience or Unity or the current Darkseid situation as best storyline, where EVERYONE'S involved, but otherwise...
Best Hero: Aquaman. God, it still scares me to say such a thing, but he's really come into his own during this rpg. Best Heroine: I'm going with Big Barda because everyone else is voting for Twy and I've just loved the interaction between her and myself. Best Villain: DARKSEID!!! Freaking amazing. Best Multiplayer Character: Aquaman/Jason Todd Best Fight: Darkseid vs the DCU. Still ongoing and I can't wait until my characters get involved. Best Story Arc: Same as best fight. Best Duo: I know it's assholish to vote for myself, but I think that BB and MM go together like PB and J. Know what I mean? Best Rivalry: Darkseid vs the world? Black Canary and Scarecrow seem to go back and forth a lot. Best Comedic Post: Bannana phone all the way. Best Dramatic Post: A lot of the Darkseid stuff has flipped my wig, but I don't think I can narrow it down to just one. Best Post: Not gonna touch this one. Best Newcomer: Guitarsingerguy and Big Barda I think can share this one. Big shout out to everyother newcomer and I hope you all stay to enjoy what is to come. MVP: Me! Just kidding. I think everyone should pat themselves on the back for what has been a great engaging story. But if I have to single someone out, I'll give the award to LT for bringing terror to the universe.
So...while it was planned to happen differently...the JLA "reformed" technically with this Darkseid thing, right?
Who is going to be on the JLA roster exactly? Made those banner things before...with all the changes and char drops I want to do a more updated one with some other pics even perhaps.
