Sorry I haven't been around for a while. For the past week I've been visiting my dad in Ottawa (Good ole Canadian capital city), and he doesn't have internet access.

The Blue Jays don't count?Neither does Toronto![]()
No, they don't. Neither do my Rangers sadly enough![]()
At least I can be happy (kinda) this year... My Rangers didn't wait til the allstar break to fall apart... they did it from the get go.
It seems to me that in the past few seasons of this RPG, the main and big events have been from a pretty predictable villain or villainous group. But I had an idea, an idea I think should be used in current comics to fix a lot of stuff, but that small part is irrelevant.
I'm proposing we do an event where Mr. Myxzptlk alters the universe, putting the heroes against near impossible trials, and then obviously the heroes must stop him and get him to change it back. There is a lot of potential here. I was thinking we could meld in the idea I had for a Silver Age RPG with this. One of the things Mr. Myxzptlk could do would be to change the heroes and they would be changed to previous incarnations and such, as well as altering their very world.
I think this could be an all around fun event to do, that would also be a great earth-shattering big event for the RPG. Would anyone be opposed to this strongly? Not just because I thought of it, I really do think everyone could have lots of fun with it. And of course, anyone could basically do what they want with it. Because, at the end...we all know the good guys will win. I just think it would be very interesting to be placed into a situation where you could do what you want, because of the immense power and abilities Mr. Myxzptlk has.
Serves you rightLike I said, I'm a Rays fan so I don't want to hear any complaints. At least you've had winning seasons to enjoy.![]()

Also, peeps, I'd like to wrap this season up by this months end, if not sooner.
Join the club. I've been saying that bout the Rangers for YEARS (like a DECADE... you know the LAST time they MADE the playoffsSad part is, if the Rays actually had pitching they could compete.![]()
Well, my Aquaman thing is almost over. But my Jason stuff isn't for this season. It's about to start, and should be able to end by this month...it just depends on the other posters involved in my arc.
I'm fortunate sometimes and as some have noticed...an able to get a crapload of posts out with ease at times. I only hope that the other people involved can try to do the same by this month's end.

Well as far as I can tell there's an arc planned for next season that's supposed to be pretty large scale. And then there's a twinkling of something else farther out about another season out.

Glad to see JRK and Keyser have been posting non stop in response to eachother today. Was afraid I was the only one moving the RPG along. :P
Yeah, we really need to inject some life back into this baby.
A lot of the RPGs are taking it on the chin lately...I love Ultimate DC and it feels like it's on it's last legs. I would hate to see some of these RPGs start going down.
Part of the problem is this influx of new RPGs. Everyone's all like "Ooooooh new shiny shiny," and neglecting the classic RPGs. It really seems to be a case of "too many cooks" syndrome.
