I gotta agree with MB. Bizzaro is ******ed. Thats what makes him unique. Zod is evil. You want en evil clone of Supes, try one of the guys in Return of Superman. There's the cyborg (not a clone), the other one with the visor (forgot his name) and there are many other Superman clone incarnations.

Steel has nothing to do with Superman clones. He was just a man who wanted to honor Supes's death, so he became Steel. I am talking about Supes clones or dopplegangers.

Yea, but it does bother me greatly how Johns basically made Match Superboy's Bizzarro. Reading these last few posts reminded me of this. Granted, he was a clone...but he was different than Bizzarro. Now he is just the same, and also physically disfigured.

True, but that's in the comics. I mean, if it happend in the comics, then we would definatly allow it.

Part of what makes Bizarro in the comics, which is what the RPG is based off of, is the fact that he speaks and operates backwards from everyone else. To make him speak perfectly clear is, essentially, making him General Zod: An evil Superman.

I'm not saying don't attempt an application or anything, I just don't see the point of doing away with what makes the character unique, in my opinion.

Definitely agreed. Bizarro wouldn't be Bizarro without the backwards speak.

Ok, perhaps he'll still have grammatically difficulties, but I don't want him completely focused on opposites.

He's not going to purposefully do the opposite of everything. He's going to do whatever helps him achieve his sinister goals.

The Biz doesn't have sinister goals either. He has misguided goals.

It sounds to me like the character you're really looking for is General Zod, IMO.

I'd say there should definitely be some limitations on how far that can be applied. Comic sources combined with common sense should be the main ingredients in the portrayal of our characters.

As just one example; Darkseid's Omega Beams have bounced off Superman's chest in the comics (Damn you, OWAW!! ), but common sense would tell us that that's complete and utter BS.

One writer's bad characterization in the comics shouldn't be an excuse for players here to follow suit.

I also have to weigh in and say that if you're going to play as Bizarro, he should be Bizarro.

The backwards talk and all that is a big part of the character. Taking it away would be like me making The Joker completely serious, never laughing, because I think it's goofy when he smiles.

You guys are right about Bizarro. If anything, I think I was looking for a character like Ultraman (whom I am know considering. ).

All I know is that I want to join up by/before Season VI...but I want to make the right character choice.

I think EBJ has jumpstarted my interest in the RPG again, with the topic of Bizarro.

For a while, I've been thinking that if I joined up for the next season, I'd want to be either Metallo or the Biz. Now I think I'm leaning more towards the big gray goof, if I do choose to take part in the season.

I've actually had an idea for a return, but I'm really fond of how I "killed" him off and I don't wanna ruin it. Plus, Rudy reached such a level of power that there's not much short of Darkseid or another energy manipulator of that magnitude who could take him down and keep him there.

But he is comatose. Has been since the end of Season IV. LT briefly played him, but he did it with him being in a coma.
