The "World of Heroes" DC RPG Season V Signup/OOC Thread

The more I think about this Black Adam idea, the more it interests me. I'm by no means sure I want to pick up a second character, especially one as powerful as Black Adam - I've never really played someone with major-league powers before. I DO have a few queries on Black Adam in relation to this RPG, however:

1. I really like Black Adam as a character, but have only become familiar with him recently, through Infinite Crisis and 52. Could anyone recommend the best recent Black Adam stories, ones that could help me get a good grasp of the character if I decided to play as him?

2. I know Black Adam was part of the Dark Alliance in Season 2 of the RPG. Can anyone with a better memory than me inform me where Black Adam was last seen?

3. I think I have a fairly solid grasp of Black Adam's powers from what i've read, but can someone tell me what the deal is with the scarab?

4. I'm not sure about playing as two characters in one RPG. I've never really been an advocate of it. For those of you who DO do it, how is it to handle?

Kinda bored tonight, so I did some very quick, very rough mock ups of my idea for the new Watchtower. Basically, it combines the Hall of Justice, The Fortress of Solitude, and the old Watchtowers. This is what I would imagine Kye would design shortly after the season ends, still in grief over Superman's death. The main building evokes the Fortress of Solitude in shape, and the reflective surface, reminiscant of crystals. The tower of course is homage to the old WatchTower satellite designs (and moon designs, even though the moon base hasn't been in the RPG.) And it symbolizes the heroes and JLA rising back up, and pointing to the stars which sent the Man of Steel, and the sky he loved to soar through. Like the Hall of Justice, it's on Earth. I'd think Metropolis, again out of respect, and the importance the city holds in the DCU. Plus, I think it would make sense to be on Earth. Like John said in Rebirth, you miss the small things being so far removed from those you'r protecting.

Again, just some ideas. If you guys like it and want to use it, cool. If not, cool.

Which brings out the question--has 9/11 happened in the RPG world? Better yet, did it happen in the DCU?
