I've cleared up my creative block, and I guess I'll be returning to the game full-time sometime soon. I'm still keeping Slade, and I'll try to put up an application for my second character sometime later.

Heh, i'm dropping Black Lightning. I just lost interest in playing him, though the fact that I didn't even PLAY him. So yeah, i'll just be sticking with the Marvel RPG for now, and then maybe come back here to play someone different. Cheers.

DC RPG Season V Application

Screen Name: Superferret (Yeah, I'm back. I'm addicted. I need help. )

Character you would like to play: Barry Allen

Powers: Super speed, complete self-molecular control, time travel.

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): The JLA, even though he's dead, I'd doubt they'd kick him out.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1) I've long wanted to play a Flash, but have been thwarted time and time again.

2) I've got a story that needs to be told.

3) I quickly got bored with Krypto, who was more a gimmick than a character. I think a more human character would be a better display of my talent.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you plan to do with the character you've chosen (i.e. What are your goals? Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?): He's going to stay dead, that's for sure. I'm going to show that being a corpse doesn't make you less of a hero.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: A few a week, depending on life.

Being dead isn't as bad as one would think. But then again, I did lead a good life. I imagine that those who've been less than decent are regretting it in the other place. I stand on the hill I've been sitting on, staring out at the sky of this Elysian field, letting the wind brush across my face.

I take off running, my feet moving so rapidly as to barely disturb the grass beneath them. Do I miss being alive? Yeah, of course. They say you don't shake it completely for at least a few centuries, if even. I understand it completely. I miss Iris. I miss Wally. I miss everyone, granted that I've seen more than a few come and go from here in the meantime.

For now though, I'm enjoying running for the sake of running. At least I was, until my mornng jog is interrupted by a Dead Man who's been struggling to catch up with me. I've got to give Boston some credit though, his speed is greatly underestimated.

"Allen, we've got trouble." He looks worried, which, for someone like Boston Brand, was definitely a bad sign.

"What? Why is it our trouble? Aren't the higher ups the ones who handle anything that affects this place?" I respond, adding, "Not that I would just stand idly by while anything happened."

"No, it's something that'd affect the living directly, and from what it seems, the old lady's going to let the guys down on Earth deal with it."

"Again, how am I supposed to do something?" I asked, becoming truly puzzled. "What's going on?"

"It's Neron, he's trying to con people out of their souls again, but he's found a loophole that allows him to do it from this side of life and death, so that noone alive can stop him."

"So it's up to the dead then." I say, a steely resolve slipping into my voice.

Just want to let you know...

The OU's big arc for Season II (Coming of Galactus) will be starting soon, and there's still plenty of characters available if anyone wants to get in on the big one. I know the entire FF are up for grabs and we'd love to have them involved in the arc.
There's actually a bunch of the top dogs from both DC and Marvel still available, heroes and villains alike.

Here's lists of some of the characters that have yet to find a good home...
