Yes, he still works for the police, though he only recently returned. His commanding officer is Amy Rohrback, and she knows that he's secretly Nightwing, but keeps it a secret. She's sort of like the Gordon to his Batman.

He's also reunited with Starfire/Kory Anders, recently.
