He's spent alot of time over the course of the RPG trying to redeem himself as a hero.

I thought there was going to be a storyline between Ollie & Lex for the White House...but since it doesn't look like that is going to happen at this time...I think my last post is a pretty good one to end on...however the door is open for the Ollie & Lex showdown if it should still happen.

I orginally wanted to do it this season, but there's always next season to hit the campagin trail. Infact, we could start the season with the Queen/Luthor debate.

Got the villains one done. Now, keep in mind these are just ideas using the characters we had this past season up to now; not next season incase the roster changes much.

You guys like? You want to use these picture rosters instead? I made a slight edit to the hero one again, but that was just fixing up some alignment stuff. I haven't re-posted it, but the picture is saved.

Here's the deal, or rather some food for thought, since I'm only here to make you happy.


Thoughts on the pictures:

Granted we don't get many additions but the lords of Hype know we get plenty of drops.
So whomever is in charge *points to Trusty* must be willing to edit it/find pictures/fix pictures should people be pick/etc/etc

Also...I'm assuming everyone is in the 21st century now and it doesn't take 12 years to loaded a page with large pictures on it?

No funny captions anymore *sad* (not like we were doing them anyway)


Once that's sorted out have at it...

I was told however there was some complaining about fixing the Roster.. if allegations of this are true I need to take my AGM's aside....

Twy isn't a fan of Red Arrow?

Oh yea, I'm cool with it. Like I said, I developed an easy system for it. Saved certain things, have certain layers...well, layed out. It's all gravy.

Also...well, no...I didn't know you didn't like Red Arrow. I'm still trying to figure out why.

Okay...so unless there are any changes that wish to be made, the set up will be of the final products of these samples (although for some reason the font in the villains one is larger, but I didn't feel like tweaking it since the line-up would be a bit different I'm guessing next season):

Additional requests are definitely okay. Just trying to make em look great and all.

Perhaps in the application, instead of--or as well as--having the question 'Can you post pictures?', we can have a question more along the lines of 'What picture for your character would you like to appear on the roster?'. And if they don't post one or say it doesn't matter to them, then I would just pick a cool looking picture of the character; sometimes depends on what I can find.

Sound good? Yay or Nay?

I agree with you on the application thing, now we have a reason of posting the pics instead just doing it because it looks cool. So, pretty much we put trusty in charge of the roster and every so often, we'll give him an update of who's who and then he'll change the pic accordingly.

Powers: Zachary can use magic by speaking the desired effect backwards. However, his magic cannot affect human beings.

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): None, technically, but I'd say he's aligned with the Teen Titans.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1) I like picking up characters that nobody else has played before.

2) I get to write his awesome power without committing to someone as big in the DCU as Zatanna.

3) He's going to be, at least to begin with, a d!ck, and I enjoy myself most when I write egotistical bastards.

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you plan to do with the character you've chosen (i.e. What are your goals? Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?):

Well, I'll be introducing him to this RPG for the first time. Also, I'm going to explore just how bad and idea it is for someone so young and reckless to be as powerful as he is.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG:

I can post as many times as needed. But usually, when involved in a solo arc, I'll post about 3-4 times a week.

Color and font you plan on using for your characters speech (Might not be applicable but it makes the roster pretty):

Book Antiqua, Black, Bold.

I've been reading this RPG for a long time. When I first found this one, and it was the season that had the Darkseid invasion, I actually made pop-corn and just read the whole thing. t:

Oh man, he loved this part.
As the smoke cleared, Zachary Zatara stepped on to the stage. He was greeted by an wave of applause and cheerful screams.

I....am a rock star.

Zatara bowed, as the cheers only escalated in volume. He felt the scorching heat of the spotlight on him, and when the cheers slowly died down he stood up straight.

"Welcome, good guests. You are about to witness extraordinary things here tonight, courtesy of the most powerful and popular teenage magician in the world.....ME!"

Again the whole crowd hollered and screamed his name in unison. Zachary smiled, thinking to himself that life didn't get any better than this.
He raised his arms, and the crowd grew silent.

"Thank you. Now, let's get started shall we? After all, you paid with your own money, which, to be fair, is now my money, to see something magnificent."

The crowd was literally on the edge of their seats, awaiting his every move.
He raised both hands to his head and removed his black silk top-hat.
The crowd drew a collective breath as he threw it high in the hair. His hands darted to his breast pocket and drew a small wand.
He swung the wand in an arc, and pointed it at the hat.

"!ezeerf taH" he exclaimed, dramatically.

And with that, the hat stopped in mid-air.
The crowd gasped.

"If that impresses you, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Haven't I taught you to expect more from my shows?" Zachary called out in to the crowd, a rascally smile on his face.
Without lowering his wand, he called out. "!yenom ot nrut taH"
Furious cheers exploded from every section of the audience, as a flash of smoke erupted from Zatara's wand and hit the hat, which promptly morphed into a seeming cloud of single dollar bills.
The money wafted out in to the audience, and every member of it clapped and stomped in approval, everyone raising their hands into the air to grab a handful of cash.

"Thank you! Thank you all! No really, you are too kind! For my next trick, I'll be --"

"HEY!" a disgruntled voice boomed towards the stage, "This isn't REAL money! What the HELL?!"

Zachary Zatara gulped loudly, and replaced his wand inside his jacket.
He faked a cough, and with an obviously insincere bow he exclaimed, "Ladies and gentlemen, I seem to be feeling a bit under the weather. So sorry, but I'll have to cancel tonight's show. No refunds. See-ya!"

And as fast as he had appeared on stage, Zachary Zatara disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving behind an angry mob.


I wonder if I can erase their memory.. Zachary amusedly thought to himself, as he counted the money going directly into his pocket.

Interesting. I'll approve it. But, I would like to ask if it would be cool if he not hook up with the Titans. I think when a team has over 5 or 6 PC's, it kinda gets too big. Right now we have, Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, Ravager, Supergirl, Beastboy, Wonder Girl. I'd like to stop right there.
