The Parasite looked down at Red Hood, who was at least a foot shorter than him.

"A partnership, huh? And what could little ol' you offer me?

Rudy grinning menacingly, baring his teeth.

 

[Twitch]

"I could offer you the destruction of Clark Kent aka Superman."

I took out some red kriptonite and showed him.

"Now do we have an agreement?"

Rudy looked at the red glowing rock in the man's hands. Kryptonite wasn't exactly his most favorite thing in the world, mainly because it could not only be used against Superman, but it would also work against him after he'd taken Kent's powers. For lack of a better term, the Parasite was... uneasy about working with kryptonite. But the kid did make an intriguing offer. Simple, but still intriguing.

Rudy looked at the red glowing rock in the man's hands. Kryptonite wasn't exactly his most favorite thing in the world, mainly because it could not only be used against Superman, but it would also work against him after he'd taken Kent's powers. For lack of a better term, the Parasite was... uneasy about working with kryptonite. But the kid did make an intriguing offer. Simple, but still intriguing.

"You can call me Red Hood. Do you happen to have a place to stay?"

The Parasite shifted forms into the body of an unassuming man.

"I'm sure that I can find myself a place to rest."

Rudy smiled, enjoying showing off his abilities to this ordinary, yet obviously capable human.

"I'm feeling a tad peckish." Rudy looked over the hordes of people running for their lives. "Mind if I go and finish my meal? We can meet somewhere else later."

 

[Twitch]

"As you wish we will meet at the ruins of the Wayne Manor, tomorrow."

I got on my bike and sped off.

OCC: Got to get off tomorrow afternoon I'll be on. (school)

Lex and Superman began gathering people from all corners of Lexcorp. I know at times I can be devious and hateful but the Joker is out of my league

He looks at Superman and says, "You might need to get your arm checked out...thank you for helping these people. I may not be able to keep my emotions or hatered against you in check, and I may not fully understand it. But for now I want us to work together for the sake of these people. No one deserves the fate that the Joker has given these people."

With that Lex began flying more people to the infirmary.

After Superman and Lex finished gathering all of the Luthor zombies, and gotten them all contained within one of Lexcorps many labs, the two unlikely allies sat together as Superman began to treat his broken arm. "How long do you think it will take to reverse this condition, Lex?"

OOC: No, not unless he drains someone who knows it or Red Hood tells him.

IC: Still feeling hungry, the Parasite transformed back into his purple form and hopped onto a car, crushing the roof of the vehicle and scaring the crap out of a group of stoned teenagers. Rudy takes one smell of them and snarls. The last thing he needed was a meal consisting of mentally numbed youths. Out of frustration from the inacceptable food, Rudy swatted at them with the strength of all the people he had drained at this point. The swing easily took thier heads clean off.

"That stuff will kill ya, heh." He smiled and continued about his business. After an hour, most of the people had fled away, leaving Rudy alone in the streets. The area was littered with flaming objects, dead people, smashed automobiles, and plain old rubble.
Rudy walked up to one of the many fires and held out his hand, absorbing the heat.
Soon, he'd transform into one of his innumerable victims and use their home for a place to rest.

OOC: I'm still here. Just waiting until the weekend's over before I head on over to OA to help Hal. Since it's makes sense to start this adventures at that time when people have returned from whatever they did during the weekend when the game seems to slow down abit.

Supergirl gets across the country in a matter of minutes, and quickly scans all of Metropolis for her cousin.

Hmm, I don't see him. He must be in a LexCorp owned building, since they are all lined with lead.

She zooms in and out of each of the LC buildings until she sees both Lex and Superman sitting watching what looked like clones of Luthor. She noticed that he was hurt, and a look of concern washed over her face.

"Superman! What happened to your arm? Are you alright? I have to talk to you! I just got offered a membership with the Titans!"

IC: Supergirl flew in unexpectedly, rattling on about the Titans. "That's nice, Kara," Clark said, not really paying attention, "we have a situation here, and I'd appreciate some help, if you're willing."

OOC: Nobody mentioned that, and if so, that would suck, so that means I killed him... again.

He seems really preocuppied. I wonder what's up?
"What's going on? What do you need me to do?"

"The Joker is changing people into mindless zombies using some sort of camera, we have to stop him. Don't worry whatever his camera does it doesn't seem to work on us."

"Then what happened to your arm? And why are you sitting with Luthor? And what direction did the Joker go?

Superman stood and faced Kara, "The Joker flew away in a blimp, my arm was broken by his 'pets', three huge mutant hyenas, and, as for Luthor, he will be helping us on this."

Clark leaned in closely, and whispered to his cousin, "I don't trust him either, but he's our only chance to change these people back. And if we can steer his anger towards the Joker, then so much the better."

"Also," he continued, bringing his voice to normal volume, "don't hurt the hyenas. I have a place for them at the Fortress."

 

[Supergirl]

"Alright I'll go see if I can find him, I'm assuming the blimp was heading to Gotham?"
As she said those words she was headed out the window and using infrared to scan the air for traces of helium.

Lex replied, "According to Dr. Moore it should take anywhere from 4-6 hours, and even then they have to be monitored for at least 24 hours to be sure that there are no lasting side-effects. What concerns me more than the loss workhours ro devoting the company resources to this it's the families of these victims. I admit I am no saint and I have my own good & evil issues....but when I went after someone I made every effort to avoid collaterial damages. The Joker deosn't care about the other lives he has affected in this latest act of violence. I know Batman doesn't believe in killing, but I'll bet if he made an exception this time no jury in the world would convict him."

He looks Superman and says, "Now if you will excuse me I am willing to bet that there will be a press gathering out front that I will need to deal with." He starts away and looks back at Superman and says, "Again I don't fully understand anymore why I am struggling with my hatred of you, but you did try to stop the mindwipe and your help today was most welcomed...for that I thank you. Make sure you get your arm checked."

Lex leaves and prepares for his press briefing.
