The 'World of Heroes: DC Style" RPG Season II

Harley Quinn ran away from the warehouse where the Joker was surely preparing any assortment of weapons to kill her and her child with. She ran as fast as she could to the only other person in the world who here twisted mind could trust.

"Red!"

As Quinn turned the corner towards Robinson Park, she saw Nightwing and Supergirl outside the park grounds.

"Oh boy."

Once Luthor finished reading his journal he felt deep sadness. He could feel the emotions of the events he read but he couldn't remember them. Some of the things he read were very pleasant like the first time he heard he was going to be a father...he had very very vauge memories of Alexis...and the more he tried to remember the more the memories seemed to slip away.

He put his head in his hands and began to weep. Once he recomposed himself he said one thing, "I will find out what happened to me, and when I do I swear those who did this to me will pay for destroying my life....I swear it!"

 

[Supergirl]

Kara scans the park, looking for Ivy and Batman. She sees the tied up Batman, but finds no trace of Ivy.
"Looks like Ivy made a clean break, and Batman is tied to a tree."

Just then she heard frantic breathing and running towards them. Along with two heartbeats.
Hmmm, a pregnant woman and by the sound of it she's scared out of her wits. "Someone's coming Nightwing."
At that moment Harley rounded the corner.

"EEEEeeeeeeekkk!" Harley screamed as Supergirl looked towards her. In a panic, Harley pulled out a large gun from her purse. From the barrel of the gun, a overly large cork was fired towards Supergirl.

 

[Batman]

Nightwings eyes widen when Harley appears.

Hes shocked.

Whether its due to the fact that shes there....and her boyfriend attacked Barbara....or that shes pregnant,He doesnt know.

Nightwing sees the gun,and sees the cork.Even though it was unlikely that the cork would effect Supergirl,He pushes her out of the way,and dives down,barely missing the cork.

Taking out a batarang,he disarms her,easily.

But in all of this....hes still shocked at her pregnancy.

Just then,Harley makes a run for it.

"QUINN!"

Completley forgetting the situation with Bruce,Nightwing runs after her,determined to find out whats going on.

As Nightwing ran up to Harley and caught up to her, she turned around quickly to face him with her hand in a tight fist.

"Oatmeal THIS!"

With that, Quinn punched Nightwing in the jaw.

 

[Supergirl]

Nightwings eyes widen when Harley appears.

Hes shocked.

Just then,Harley makes a run for it.

"QUINN!"

Completley forgetting the situation with Bruce,Nightwing runs after her,determined to find out whats going on.

"Ooff" I don't know whether to be happy or offended at that... it shows that either he doesn't think I can handle a cork; or that he cares about me to try to keep me out of even the most minimal harm.
"Don't worry, I'll slow her down."
A slight smile forms on Kara's face, as her irises go red. Smoke begins to rise from Harley's feet as the rubber in the soles of her shoes begins to melt and starts to stick to the sidewalk she's standing on.

OOC: Master Bruce, start posting as Wolverine... seriously...

 

[Batman]

Nightwing felt the punch.....but it wasnt anything.

He had been punched by Harley before......but this....it was like she wasnt even trying.

He could tell that she was trembling.

This was unusual,considering She had never been THIS afraid of Nightwing......just Batman.

He first thought that she was more scared due to her pregnancy......but that wasnt it.

Something was terrifying her.

"What are you afraid of?"

Not that he was actually concerned....considering she was a lunatic who deserved to rot in Arkham for even CONSIDERING getting with The Joker.......but he was curious.

"What am I afraid of?! I'm afraid of THIS!" said Harley, indicating the bulge in her stomach. "If Mr. J find me, he'll kill us both!"

OOC: Just a little note, Harley's not in her usual costume. She's dressed in everyday jeans and a T-shirt.

 

[Supergirl]

While Nightwing was dealing with Harley, Kara ran to where Batman was tied up.
"What happened Batman? Where's Robin, and where's Ivy?"
Standing back in case something happened, she used her heat vision to cut him free.
"And for that matter, where's Kal? I need to talk to him."

I've been up here for a while, swinging around on this rope like a bug stuck in a spider's web. Nightwing and Supergirl arrived a few moments ago, chasing a pregnant woman. Odd, I probably should figure out who that woman is, she must be being chased for a reason.

Then I realize it: it's Harley. I'm dumbfounded, stupified, down-right flabbergasted. Who was the father? Obvious, it's the Joker. But I always thought he was more asexual if anything...

It's then when Kara walks towards me and cuts me out of the ropes.

"What happened Batman? Where's Robin, and where's Ivy? And for that matter, where's Kal? I need to talk to him."

"Ivy...she sprayed me with pheromones." I find it easier to speak, it's most likely starting to wear off. "Robin went to get an antidote. Superman went...somewhere to take down Killer Croc."

 

[Supergirl]

"Whered Ivy run off too? Also, I have a lead on Tetch that Nightwing was going to help me on, but with these new developments he's a little occupied at the moment."

Kal told me about how Ivy can play with emotions with her pheromones, and how he's even been under her control. That I can't imagine, but then again I know what its like to be taken advantage of and put to evil workings.

"Do you want me to continue my patrol, or go after the Hatter? It's your city so I'll do what you feel I need to do."

Still panicing, Harley Quinn popped her feet out of her melted sneakers and continued to run into the shadows of Gotham.

OOC: Short, I know. But I've gotta go and I don't want to just leave Harley there, talking to Nightwing.

Kal told me about how Ivy can play with emotions with her pheromones, and how he's even been under her control. That I can't imagine, but then again I know what its like to be taken advantage of and put to evil workings.

"Do you want me to continue my patrol, or go after the Hatter? It's your city so I'll do what you feel I need to do."

I find it odd that even when I'm hanging from a tree on a rope like this that Kara still has this "creepy creepy Bat" look to her, as though she's almost scared about what might happen.

"I didn't see where Ivy went to, I was occupied with the pheromones. Go after Tetch."

 

[Supergirl]

He's giving me a wierd look, like he doesn't understand why he scares me. It couldn't be that the first time I met him, he also gave me my first encounter with Kryptonite and it was the most painful experience I've ever had. It couldn't be that no matter how much I do, I'm still not trustworthy. I get the feeling he's trying to look into my own mind just as much as I'm trying to decipher his. Maybe that's something I should consider... Kal HAS been presuring me to pursue an education, and psychology is something that could be beneficial.

"Alright, I'll get Tetch. I have an inkling of what he may be upto."

She takes off to the sky, hurtling upward at nearly the speed of sound.
"Oracle, how many hat factories other than the Stetson are in Gotham? They're all potential targets."

As Kara flew off I noticed Harley running away into the shadows. I quickly run after her. In the comm I hear Dick's voice coming out.

"Batman, where are you going? What's going on?"

"Nothing." I reply. "Just let Robin know where I went, he'll tell you what happened. Go look for Isley, I'll find Harley."

I check up on Batman and Robin and see they are occupied with Ivy, and in no apparent distress. I connect the link to Supergirl as I see her walking aimlessly in the streets, "Supergirl, head towards the middle of the city,will you?"

Can we just assume Superman gave me one awhile ago in case I needed it?

I got to the cave and look around hastily. I found the cure in the lab and then sped off.


*5 mins later*

I got back to the park to find that Bruce was not there anymore but I found Dick instead. I aproach him quietly.

"What happend?"

Dick told me everything and I was relived that Bruce recoverd and was on a current chase.

"I got to go settle a score." Before Dick could reply I sped off in the direction of Ivy.

 

[Batman]

Still panicing, Harley Quinn popped her feet out of her melted sneakers and continued to run into the shadows of Gotham.

Nightwing almost runs after her,but stops.

Shes just gonna keep running.

Dick then thought about what she said about The Joker....."Mr.J",as she calls him.

He doesnt want a kid?

Of course,Jokers insane.Why the hell would he want to be a father anyway?

Dick ran back to Robertson Park,where Tim showed up,and asked him what happened.

By the time Dick is done explaining,Tim sped off in Ivy's direction.Dick felt like he should go after him......but then he remembered Bruce.

Dick activates his comm.link.

"Batman,Where Are You?Whats going on?"

"Nothing.Just let Robin know where I went, he'll tell you what happened. Go look for Isley, I'll find Harley."

It seems like Bruce is back to normal,which is good.....now He doesnt have to worry about that.

Nightwing looks for transportation to go after Ivy,but considering Supergirl carried him to Robertson Park.....it wasnt going to be easy.

Considering his bat-cycle was trashed,Bruce had the Batmobile,and He couldnt....fly....He decided to do it the hard way.....and within minutes,he was jumping across rooftops,heading towards Tims destination.

Just then,Tim's signal is lost.

Either hes in trouble,or He shut off his communicator.

With that in mind,Nightwing runs even faster,trying to remember where,exactly,Tim was,and hopefully where Ivy is.
