"Wally" J'onn turned to face the speedster. "I never got to thankyou before. I came to see if icould be of assistance. i understand something happened to Bart. If theres anything you need from me then say now."

"Don't worry about it big guy...This may sound cheesy as all Wisconsin but... he's in a better place now...Besides, we've got work to do.

"Supes, I got Oracle working on the case right now. Says chances of getting surveilance info is slim but she'll see what she can do. Whoever Deathstroke and Adam had with them didn't want us finding out who he was."

IC: "I can try and put a psychic call out to all the telepaths on the planet and harness their energy to a level matching that of Tomorrow Woman's. I may then be able to locate our mystery man or woman."

OOC: Who is the mystery man by the way.i didnt see the last arc so im not sure who it is.

"What me?" J'onn focused as he stared at the world. Everyone looked at him as he just stared. He never blinked once with his yellow eyes. Then he suddenly moved. "I can't find him. However with time i can find out who he is. Whether it's directly or through the mind of one of his allies. Surely one of them is weak minded"

OOC: Considering the Tower of Fate is basically another dimension in itself, you wouldn't be able to penetrate it. Even with all the worlds good psychics backing you up. The only way you'd be able to tell it's Shade, psychically, is when he leaves the Tower. Even then you'd have to know what to look for.

I feel sorry for rigel. He's the only one who knows what you're really up against, and none of you are giving him the time of day.

OOC: As an outsider for this arc, I've noticed that too. Kinda sad, but they'll get what's coming to them.

OOC: Agreed. No offense Nightwing, but that really is a load of crap. The Tower of Fate is the most highly mystically guarded place on the planet. It can't be penetrated in any manner as I recall.

Well, in can be penetrated, IIRC. But, only of the master of the Tower allows it to be. And Mordru damn sure isn't going to be allowing anyone access to the Tower, unless they're DA members, any time soon.

firstly i never stated that J'onn went into this tower or that he tapped into Shade's mind and secondly im not fully knowledged about Shade and i didnt know of the Tower of Fate. so i apologise and also feel you jumped the gun. but its changed all the same

”Now father has a job to do.” Deathstroke said as he reached under the Ravager’s bed and grabbed a package from underneath it. Taking away the packaging, Slade took out an almost exact replica of the Batman uniform.

”You have done well, my daughter. You have certainly done well.” Slade said, looking over to the sleeping Rose. Before she went off to kill Lian she did another job for him. He didn’t even know where she got it from, but this was good. Would fit nicely over his armor.

As if he had spoken the devil’s name himself, Mordru appeared into the room, dropping off ‘Stroke’s stuff in front of him. He watches it with awe, as his fingers go over the runes.

Turning away from Mordru, Deathstroke changes into his Batman uniform, the armor underneath and the blade to his side. ”A little birdie’s tower is in need of destruction. Oracle’s clocktower. I got texted just before we left the Titans Tower. My other employers would like me to get rid of her… accessories and I think it would serve our Alliance well.” Deathstroke said as he put he pulled the cowl over him. ”I’ll be in Gotham…”

“A sound idea, Terminator”, says Mordru as he opens a portal. “I too am headed for Gotham to pick up a possible new recruit.”
Mordru enters the portal and appears back in the main room. Adam is still resting, and he finds the Shade is about to depart as well.
“Shade, I go to Gotham to recruit a new member. I trust you will be fine in my absence?”

"Batman has Scarecrow, ring, so I think it's time to pay a visit to an old acquaintance."

~Who, sir?~

"My bed... get me back to the Watchtower... I need some sleep."

*Hal lazily walks through the Watchtower hallways. He needs to get to sleep.*

"Wait a sec, where's Midnite? I called him here personally. I had him, Vigilante, and Elongated Man do an undercover job for me with the D.A. Is he back yet?"

 

[Harlekin]

Before the portal could close, Slade walked through as well, appearing back in the main room. "A new recruit in Gotham? Might as well tag along than and let you drop me off near Gotham's clocktower." Deathstroke looked over to Mordru before quipping "Don't worry, I don't get frisky on the first date." and extended his hand "Let's get going, unless our friend the Shade would like to come along."

 

[Johnny Blaze]

Mordru looked at Slade’s extended hand and chuckled. “Before we depart, Deathstroke, I will place the same mental blocks onto you as I did the Shade.”
With that, Mordru went into the minor incantation to set Deathstroke up with a mystical barrier around his mind.

“If you have business in Gotham, Shade, you are welcome to tag along. If not, then I trust you can find something to occupy your time with until we return”, said the Dark Lord as he opened up the portal to Gotham.

Mordru then step into the portal and disappear…

Shade blinked a few times after the spell was done. "Many thanks, Mordru." He pored over some maps and returned to the hall where Mordru and Slade were leaving. "I will be alright, I'm heading in another direction. Tick tock, my friends, tick tock; time is running out."-he said as he stepped throught his own black portal with the edges frayed in green flame.

OOC: I'll be back in a while with a bigger post and an opening for BatnKevlar's battle. Gotta go make dinner.

 

[Supergirl]

*Vigilante and Elongated Man enter the room.*
Elongated Man-"Sorry we're late. We tried to get here as fast as we can but I had to keep stopping for SLOWPOKE over here."
Vigilante-"Well some of us can't just stretch our legs to the other side of the room."
Flash-"This is not the time guys. Whatcha got for me?"
Both-"...uuuh."
EM-"Well you see--"
V-"We kinda--"
EM-"Left early."
Flash-"...I'm sorry. I don't think I heard that right. Did you just say...you left."
V-"Well...yeah."
Flash-"You just left?"
EM-"Pretty much."
Flash-"...One question."
V-"Shoot."
Flash-"WHY?!?"

*Both look at each other.*
Elongated Man-"...You wanna handle this one tex?"
Vigilante-"Naw, I'm good."
EM-""
V-"..."
EM-"...Well you see...Midnite figured we wouldn't pass as Captain Cold and...Who were you again?
V-"Catman."
EM-"--Catman so he told us to kind of...go home."
Flash-"...Go home?"
EM-"Go home."
Flash-"...:sighs:...I'll wait till he gets here. You guys go...Do...something...Over there. Far, far over there."

*Damn it Midnite, where are you?*

"Tick tock the witch is dead. Now that was ding dong." Deathstroke said with a chuckle towards Shade as he followed Mordru through the portal too Gotham and ended up on the rooftop, somewhere near the East End, Slade deduced.

"Good luck with your recruit and thanks for the blocks." Slade said as he tapped his head and left towards the Clocktower "See you at the Tower."
