The Worst Movies of the year...So Far. (Ebert & Reoper)

the fact that Date Movie isn't on that list makes me lose faith i may or may not have had in Ebert and Roepert (or whatever their names are)

I usually agree with Ebert's reviews, but I haven't seen one movie on that list. :(

i don't know... but the fact that neither that, or UltraViolet is on that list really concerns me.

ultraviolet > bloodrayne:o

Wes Craven was a 100% behind the remake of the Hills Have Eyes...he just didn't wanna do it himself...The original Hills was done so long ago with so little money...Craven himself would have hoped for chance to re-do a lot of his movies with the right amount of time and money to complete them...But then if you ask him if he's in favor of re-making A Nightmare on Elm St...the answer would most likely be "No".

That's also a franchise that's still going, and will be as long as Englund is capable of playing the part.

HHE was deader than **** for many years.

I can say with a sigh of relief I saw none of those movies. Though I did see Silent HIll and (takes gulp of shame) Date Movie. I find it hard neither of those made the list.

I'm surprised Silent Hill didn't make it too, being as it's one of the best films of the year, which is what usually makes their worst list.

Silent Hill was pretty good actually, except fo the ending.

Where is that f***ing dump Date Movie?

Amen to that, easily the worst movie so far this year.

Nacho Libre was good fun and probaly tied for the funniest movie i've seen this year with The Break Up.

When the worst film to be released this year opens, they'll probably laud it. That's their usual pattern.

Definetly, one of the best horror films this year,no doubt. I really liked the movie.

i'm glad you mentioned the Break Up... man, did that movie suck ass, especially for all the hype it received... not even Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston's bare ass could make it good, and that's saying alot.

Ebert and Roeper should just shove those thumbs up their butts.

Why cause they didn't like the horrible movies you do?

Hills Have Eyes were decent at the very least...

Agreed. They trash The Hills Have Eyes but leave Hostel off the list? I bet if The Hills Had Eyes had Tarantino's name on it and not Hostel, they would be far more kind to it.

no, because NOT only do a few of those movies not deserve to be there, their so-called worst movies are missing the biggest atrocities of the year.

to make that list without either Date Movie or Ultraviolet just confirms that Ebert is indeed senile.

There will be another updated list at the end of the year. They know UltraViolet and Date Movie sucked.Yes all those movies deserve to be there. Roeper tore apart The Hills Have Eyes, "This movie totally sucked,I absoulty hated it" lol
