Seriously nobody!? I thought someone would find it relevant seeing as how it could be detrimental to his title reign considering that he has naysayers that feel he's not a good talker.

I think he's a good talker. The only negative is that he reminds me of the preppie popular jerk you see in 80's High School movies. He's still better than a lot of the roster , for better or worse.

Don't forget this guy...

He's the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Oh how that mighty title has fallen...

Good Impact with lots of hype TNA put into. Like the opening intro.

I had a feeling that they would put the tag team titles back on Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez since it was in their home state of Texas. They also did it to sustain the tag team scene. If Chavo and Hernandez broke up, we would be left with only two tag teams and that's not good.

Taryn Terrell did well in her singles wrestling debut as she defeated Gail Kim and it's good to see ODB back as new KO referee.

I called it that they would eliminate Adam Pearce and have Magno face the judges, where they rejected as it didn't surprise me. The minute he spoke Spanish, that sealed his fate.

AJ Styles had distinguish himself from Sting of 1996-97 by talking little and Hulk Hogan made his decision to make a match between he and James Storm, who along with Bad Influence, were a part of his downfall from last year.

They continue to build up Rob Terry as he squashes Joey Ryan as punishment for last week. I thought it would be the returning Chris Sabin.

The main event was great and Jeff Hardy got some moments such as the Swanton Bomb through the table outside the ring, being suplexed on the ladder, and going through the table again. Bully Ray's storyline with Brooke Hogan was integrated well as she slapped him good. I'm glad Brooke didn't turn heel as it would be too predictable and too obvious. I think they'll save it for Slammiversary. Well done to Bully Ray on his first title defense since Lockdown and on his own as the Aces and Eights weren't necessary.

Watched Main Event on ION strictly for The Shield, very interested to see where they go with them. I think they need an angle, if Taker's not in their match at Extreme Rules I could see them taking the tag titles.

As long as they do Hell No/Undertaker vs. Shield, I’ll buy this show.

If I was booking, I’d do something like:

Cena vs. Ryback

Hell No/Undertaker vs. Shield

Del Rio vs. Ziggler

Big Show vs. Orton vs. Sheamus

Cesaro vs. Jericho

Christian vs. Barrett

Clay vs. Fandango
(They’ll make the most of Fandango’s popularity by giving him another win. Some kind of dance based rivalry with Clay or Tensai seems likely.)

I suggest that you all watch the 4/10/13 episode of NXT. It features William Regal vs Kassius Ohno.

TNA TV Taping spoilers: Ongoing coverage of the taping for the April 18 television show (spoilers)

Dot Net reader Earnest De La Garza is at the TNA Impact Wrestling event in Corpus Christi, Texas and is sending updates on the taping for the April 18 television show. Refresh the update for the latest updates.

Mickie James defeated Miss Tessmacher. ODB was special referee. The crowd came alive for Mickie more than the local Miss Tessmacher (Houston is not too far from Corpus Christi for her). Mickie hit her up top for a close one. These ladies are way superior to any Divas match featured here before and the crowd was pretty entertained. In a sloppy finish, Mickie won with a roll up pin gone wrong.

Jeremy Borash announced the main event of Bully Ray vs. Sting.

2. Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco beat Kurt Angle. Huge pop for Angle, who lost due to shady tactics from Aces & 8s. Angle took a beating and then they got on the mic and boasted about Bully's win.

Angle got a nice pop when he left and Borash said the referee has camera on his head and next week it will be featured for the X Division. It seems like this will be the norm for X Division going forward due to the way he hyped it up.

3. X Division Champion Kenny King beat Zema Ion and Petey Williams. There were some boring chants and the crowd is starting to get restless. Two tapings wears a person out. King pinned Ion.

TV Champion Devon vs. Magnus never got started. Aces & 8's beat Magnus down on the ramp and gave him a Shield-esque powerbomb on the stage. Samoa Joe made the save. Not sure if it will make TV, but Devon and company got a big pop as they left the arena. Devon took a look at me and my buddy Robert Chapa and gave us a nod.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian came out as they pushed the year of Bad Influence. They were trying to sell their shirts and their right to a tag championship match. Austin Aries and Bobby Roode came out. Kaz tried to push the vegan card to Aries and that never matters in wrestling. People wanted this to end. Chavo and Hernandez came to the ring and they attacked Aries and Roode and showed off their titles after for no pop.

4. TV Champion Devon beat Samoa Joe. Aces & 8's came out mid match and struck Joe, and then Devon got the pin. There was another Aces & 8's celebration for winning a match. Anderson struck Joe in the face with his fist and it looked like it actually landed. As Devon left, he took popcorn from a fan and ended up throwing it at a young child. It almost started trouble with the section.

5. A.J. Styles defeated James Storm. The crowd chanted "you still got it" at Styles. He was in good shape. Storm had him for his superkick, but Styles reversed it into a sweet looking ankle lock. Bad Influence were out, but Styles walked right past them. Aces & 8's attacked the remaining wrestlers.

Bully Ray took the mic to loud boos from the crowd. Ray said all our heroes are dead and done then said we should blame it on Hulk Hogan. He called out Hogan for the next week's live Impact. They proceeded to beat down Storm and then Sting came out to largest pop of both night tapings. Sting called out Aces and 8's while Storm and Joseph Park were in ring with him. There were loud "you suck" chants to Ray as he tried to talk. It became a six-man tag match rather than the singles match that was promised earlier.

6. Sting, James Storm, and Joseph Park defeated Bully Ray, Devon, and DOC. Storms started off, but there were loud Sting chants and he got in to wrestle Ray. Sting performed some splashes late in the match. He got the bat and Storm hits the Last Call on DOC, and Park got in with his splash. Sting performed Death Drop and it was over.

The crowd stayed hot for most all of the show. The sound system and the lack of fireworks hurts the major presence that WWE has when they are here.

Vince McMahon wants a new top latino face But is having trouble with ADR right?,What about Hunico?,He has an alright look/decent in the ring/knows english and can speak it way better than ADR while having a better voice than ADR and especially Mysterio.

They just have to drop the thug gimmick when he returns from injury..Whenever that is!

"- As noted before, Stephanie McMahon revealed over WrestleMania weekend that The Rock will be on the cover of the WWE 2K14 video game. This was originally supposed to be a major reveal and there were people unhappy that Stephanie ruined those plans.

2K Sports is new to working with WWE and were "freaking out" at first. The idea was to do the reveal sometime in the near future and have Rock on RAW to promote it. Rock's people have told the Take Two Interactive people that he will be able to promote the game this year.

I'm guessing it was going to be similar to how Punk did it,I'm sure it'll be like that as planned

I wonder if people will still complain about the new one after seeing these.

Random question- I am thinking about getting rid of cable due to the expensive cost associated with it. The only show I prefer to watch live is WWE Raw- but I may have to relent in order to save $$ for the future. Does anyone know an online alternative to watch Raw live or after the show is over, when its up on YouTube? I don't want Hulu Plus since they heavily edit the show.

Thanks

I can almost always find the full show on YouTube or other video sites the day after, and there are definitely streaming solutions to watch it live.
