The only complaint I have is the strap looks like feathers. Having said that, I do quite like it. The eagle represents history to me. When I see it I think of Hogan, Savage, Flair, Hart, Michaels, Undertaker, Austin, Rock, Triple H, Foley and on and on.

That eagle belt, I like it. Though, I am warming up to the current belt, still think it could use a nice background.

Yeah, Eagle one is the best. It looks like the successor of the previous championship belts while reflecting the modern day take. They could've put the gimmicky side plates on the side over the feathered-leather look too.

As for the need for bling, they could've had rubies as the eagle eyes, diamonds on the gold dots. It could've worked.

The rest were weak, and the used design is better than them. But the Eagle one was sooo much better.

- We noted before that The Rock was scheduled to be beatdown by Brock Lesnar on the post-WrestleMania 29 RAW to set up a WrestleMania XXX match, but had to return to Miami because of the injury he suffered. According to those close to the situation, Rock was the one who came up with the angle. Monday afternoon was described as panic because Vince McMahon led the writing team in re-doing the entire show.

Lesnar was kept off RAW when word came that Rock wasn't going to be there because it's now the start of his new contract and he has very limited TV dates over the next year. WWE officials didn't want to waste a Rock or Brock appearance without something major happening.

- WWE had plans to push people to the WWE App during WrestleMania 29 but it crashed and those plans were changed. The announcers were told not to mention it.

- As we have noted, The Rock suffered a hernia, torn adductor and torn abdominal muscle during his WrestleMania 29 match with John Cena. It's believed the initial injury happened when he took the first Attitude Adjustment from Cena.

Rock continued to wrestle and word is that the muscle continued to tear from his pelvis. By the time the match was over, both his abdominal and adductor muscle had torn completely off the pelvis.

- It's said that Brodus Clay, Tensai, Cameron, Naomi, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow and The Bella Twins were all unhappy about their match being pulled from WrestleMania 29 but in particular, Rhodes was upset.

- Mark Henry is scheduled to begin a feud with Sheamus soon. At one point, the feud was discussed for WrestleMania 29 before the undercard was redone.

- WWE donated $100,000 to Brian Stann's "Hire Heroes USA" charity.

- WWE developmental trainer Bill DeMott tweeted praise for NXT wrestler Aiden English:

"Congratulations to @WWEDramaKing for putting @WWENXT on #notice!"

- As noted, Jack Swagger will return to court in Gulfport, MS on June 25th for a DUI charge. A Gulfport prosecutor is seeking the maximum punishment - 2 days in jail, a $437 fine for marijuana possession, a $1,300 fine for the DUI and a $188 fine for speeding.

- It's now acknowledged within WWE that the post-WrestleMania RAW is now one of the biggest events of the year now. For WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, there is talk that they might hold both WrestleMania and RAW in the SuperDome to try and build up that RAW as a can't-miss supershow.

- As noted, the post-WrestleMania 29 WWE RAW on April 8th did a 3.43 cable rating with 4.61 million viewers. In comparison, last year's post-WrestleMania RAW did a 3.43 cable rating with 5.02 million viewers. The difference this year was 1.35 viewers per home, very low by WWE standards, compared to 1.48 viewers per home last year.

In the segment breakdown, the show started big with John Cena and Mark Henry at a 3.74 quarter rating. Big E Langston vs. Daniel Bryan lost 461,000 viewers. Wade Barrett vs. The Miz lost another 222,000 viewers. Backstage segments with Randy Orton and Sheamus gained 92,000 viewers. Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter in the 9pm timeslot gained 151,000 viewers for a 3.42 quarter rating.

Dolph Ziggler winning the World Heavyweight Title and The Undertaker, The Shield, Kane and Daniel Bryan segment gained 460,000 viewers for a 3.76 quarter rating - the show high point. Zack Ryder, Santino Marella and R-Truth vs. 3MB plus a WrestleMania week recap video lost 329,000 viewers. Backstage stuff with Orton, Sheamus and Big Show plus Sheamus and Orton coming to the ring lost 110,000 viewers. Orton vs. Sheamus with the crowd going crazy gained 329,000 viewers in the 10pm timeslot for a 3.58 quarter rating.

Show beating down Orton and Sheamus lost 70,000 viewers. Fandango vs. Kofi Kingston with Chris Jericho attacking lost 207,000 viewers. Tensai, Brodus Clay, Cameron and Naomi vs. The Bella Twins, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow lost 665,000 viewers - one of the worst performing segments in a while. Mark Henry vs. John Cena in the main event, plus the Ryback attack, gained 887,000 viewers for a 3.54 overrun rating - strong numbers to end RAW.

- Rey Mysterio is supposed to be back in action this June after knee rehab but the feeling is that he is winding down his run with the company.

My issue with that one is the same as the current title and the spinner. It's just a logo with bling. WWE should get rid of the scratch logo anyway, because it doesn't fit the company anymore.

Christmas Bounty will launch during ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas programming event this December and will star Francia Raisa and WWE wrestler Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin.

It will follow Raisa, an elementary school teacher trying to keep her past as a bounty hunter under wraps, who returns home for Christmas only for history to catch up with her. Andrew Black, Vivian Lee, James Berg, Stan Zimmerman and Claudia Grazioso penned the script.

Production began this week.

It looks as though we got the best of a bad crowd with the new WWE title. The eagle one looks kinda' ok, but it looks pretty impractical. Lol, I can't believe some of the designs used hinges and chains. The additional smaller straps on top of the main straps looks tacky as hell.

They need to leave the belt issues to the professionals rather than get them designed by their own inexperienced in-house teams.

The current title is just boring. What's so cool about a gaint logo? You might as well put McMahon's face in the center. It could have been worse apparently but WWE has been producing some of the worst designs ever for titles I honestly think Mettel are coming up with the concepts now.

I agree. Brand recognition seems to be their number one design requirement these days. I do wonder when or even if we'll see a more classy and traditional title again.

I know that many would love to see the 'Winged Eagle' return as would many of the wrestlers, but I just don't think it will ever make a comeback. One of the reasons being that it is no longer a unique design for the company's main title. I may be wrong, but I just can't see the WWE title, especially, ever going back in design (back in terms of bringing older designs back), but will rather try to progress and evolve with something new each time.

Btw, bit of trivia, Cheif Jay Strongbow was the one to suggest a giant eagle being put on the title when the Winged Eagle was created.

That's where dropping the thug gimmick comes in,ADR had the same reaction and still does most of the time But WWEgave him a chance and so might as well test the waters with a Hunico push under a character change and see what happenes
