Well, if it doesn't work out, at least he can say he put over Rhodes and Reigns before leaving. The biggest miss was not doing Helmsley Vs. Mysterio in a Career Ending Match to give Mr. 619 the send-off he deserves.

The fact that they are going to have working relationships with global companies may be what a WWE competitor needs. Sure TNA had the money and talent to be a good alternative, but LOLTNA is basically the story there. Maybe they can have sort of a new territory type thing where they "borrow" talent from other countries, have them in feuds with the mainstays, then let them go back to New Japan or wherever while some GFW talent that went abroad comes back. If they get a decent tv deal they could really become a solid enough competitor that gives a lot of frustrated WWE fans something else to watch if they want to satiate their wrestling desire.

The best case scenario (for turning GFW or any other small promotion into a legit WWE competitor) is that they develop a strong following, and then a big company either acquires them or buys a major stake in them (a TNA-Spike type deal isn't enough). The big company would ideally own its own network of broadcasting names, and also have a global marketing division and a sports broadcasting infrastructure.

I love how Vince gets angry and berates his own fans for being bored on a show featuring a dude wrestling in a Bunny costume. Those Smackdown results sound lame. They really couldn't save the I-C Title 3-Way for the PPV? I know buyrates don't matter to them anymore, but ****.
Hold up, are you Jason Solomon from PWMania.com? Cause...

What I fear with a big company buying a small one is that you get too many cooks(toooooo many cooooks) that don't know anything about wrestling. It would be nice to see a major company putting some money behind a competitor, but so many times you get people coming in making demands without any understanding of the product and the fans. I think it takes a good mastermind running the show with a lot of money behind them the way Eric Bischoff had when WCW was a big threat. The sucky part is that Bischoff ran out of good ideas a loooooooong time ago, so WCW died when too many cooks started to come in.

It would be cool if someone like Dutch Mantel was running the show in GFW to make sure the wrestling show is good, but maybe Jarrett will get someone who surprises us. There's gotta be a good amount of bookers out there besides Dutch, Heyman, and the WWE people to an extent. I just hope that they let him or her plan the show well and long term without getting too many hands pulling the show in a different direction.

“Not at all. I have no intention to join WWE. Rather I want to push New Japan to the level of WWE, where wrestlers from all over the world are dying to join. Until then, I cannot see myself joining WWE.”

Regarding Tyson Kidd’s push on the midcard, he’s been working elements into his gimmick that are inspired by friend and controversial indie star Teddy Hart.

Triple H is reportedly high up on the gimmick. With that and Total Divas producers high on segments with Kidd and Natalya, it’s expected that Kidd’s push will continue at least into the next season.

On a related note, Vince McMahon has reportedly “been over” the current storyline with The Bella Twins but it’s there to help co-promote Total Divas.

So Tyson's gimmick is somewhat meant to troll Teddy Hart? :lmao: priceless

Changing his haircut is the smartest thing Tyson Kidd ever did:

I'm glad Kidd is on the receiving end of a push because 1) He's always been a favorite of mine and 2) I'd like to see him have a run with the IC title.

Very happy for Tyson Kidd....though I wish that instead of the Total Divas nonsense, him and Nattie could have been paired with Jimmy Hart as their manager.

He probably would have been given the name "Yoshi Fuji" and the gimmick of a Sushi Chef and his finisher would be named "The Beni-Hana."

Took forever, but I'm glad they're using him in a meaningful way. Loving "zero fu**s given" attitude while sporting those Beats By Dre.
