ECW Hardcore TV was just too awesome in 1996. Everything just organically meshed together by then and that's why It's the easiest product for me to sit through for that time.

Raw was just blah and Nitro didn't get interesting till the Summer of that year.

*SPOILERS* WWE SMACKDOWN TAPING RESULTS FOR NOVEMBER 14, 2014

The following are complete spoiler results of the WWE SmackDown taping from Liverpool, England.

– Chris Jericho opens up the WWE SmackDown taping for this week. He comes out to a huge pop from the Liverpool audience. It’s time for the “Highlight Reel” segment. Jericho’s guests, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, make their way out to the ring. The fans break out in a “Where’s Our Network?!” chant, much like at Monday’s RAW, which was also taped in Liverpool, England. Not a lot of details about what was said, just that this was apparently a really good segment.

– Vince McMahon came out of nowhere and cut a promo at the top of the stage. He came out after some more “Where’s Our Network?!” chants broke out. He insulted the fans in attendance, saying that Liverpool sounds like a “skin disease.” This was apparently a dark segment that won’t air as part of the broadcast this Friday night. – Bray Wyatt def. Sin Cara in what was basically a brief squash match. Wyatt dominated from bell-to-bell, picking up the win with his “Sister Abigail” finisher for the 1-2-3. After the match, Wyatt cut a promo, which prompted Dean Ambrose to come out. Wyatt fled the scene before Ambrose could get to him. The segment ended with Wyatt at the top of the stage laughing at Ambrose.

– Goldust and Stardust def. Adam Rose and The Bunny in tag-team action. This was said to be a decent match, but mostly a comedy bout. They teased more issues between Rose and The Bunny.

Ryback vs. Kane is announced for a singles match later on in the show.

– Dolph Ziggler def. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in an elimination match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. This was said to be an outstanding match that the crowd was heavily into. Kidd eliminated Cesaro first. Ziggler then beat Kidd to retain.

– Natalya def. Layla in Divas action. This was said to be a pretty typical Divas match, which Nattie won by way of submission after locking Layla in the Sharpshooter.

– Ryback def. Kane via Disqualification in the main event of the show. The Authority was sitting at ringside during this match. The finish saw Kane blast Ryback with a chair, which resulted in Ryback winning via DQ. After the match, Ryback was brought in the ring for a beatdown, but ended up getting the upper hand in the action, blasting Kane with a Shellshock to close the show.

Can't wait for that 3 way IC title match.

I love how Vince gets angry and berates his own fans for being bored on a show featuring a dude wrestling in a Bunny costume. Those Smackdown results sound lame. They really couldn't save the I-C Title 3-Way for the PPV? I know buyrates don't matter to them anymore, but ****.

Ziggler would have had to do double duty for that to work. I mean he could do it but considering how much the team match is being emphasized, the IC title defense would still feel somewhat undercut.

Whenever Ziggler finishes with Harper (should be good with Ziggler doing his usual good work and bumping beautifully for Harper), I'd like to see a feud between him and Kidd for the IC belt.

They wouldn't be dumb enough to try and immediately job Ziggler to Harper and assume that it would get him over would they?

I've been watching the Monday Night War series on the Network, and it's funny hearing about how they had to listen to the fans when WCW were beating them every week during their streak. You could tell how desperate they were when they were losing money every week to their big rival. Their backs were against the wall, so they delivered their best content ever. Flash forward to them after winning the war, and they've become as complacent as WCW did when they were on top. Maybe they are being pushed to that corner now by the fans who have been leaving the product, and we might see some of these guys like Ambrose and Bray Wyatt become huge stars after the WWE creatively rallies around them. As much as a product cynic I am I really like to think that's true, but they're more like WCW than they care to admit.

Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn just put on a great match on Main Event. That means Tyson pulled double duty tonight and (supposedly) stole the show twice. He really deserves this push.

He's always been an underrated worker.

All the money I was going to spend on Mania tickets this year all went to WK9. :hehe:

That AJ shoot! :wow: It's from her new site.

In other news, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee will be launching her own non-WWE website soon. She tweeted the following today:

"Facebook link on my profile is a WWE created and run AJ fan page. I have not, do not, & WILL NOT ever have a personal or public Instagram or Facebook. So let's all agree to stop being fooled by fakes. However, my friend Alison has created my official website, AJ-Brooks.com . Auctions, prizes, Q&A & exclusive shoots- coming soon"
