Okada vs. Tananhashi on American PPV on January 4th. Okada symbolically asks Tanahashi if he's ready.

Decided to amuse myself by watching Dragon Gate's 2013 Kobe World show. Worth checking out for the Twin Gate title match between BxB Hulk and Towzawa against Doi and Ricochet. The three way Triangle Gate match is a lot of fun and a really good main event from CIMA and Tagaki.

Nikki Bella sure does love to cry on the internet about hardcore fans not liking her. She posted a message on instagram about how she works so hard and she doesn't have to prove herself, and she isn't an indie darling but this is her dream.

I'm pretty sure you can work really hard and still end up being not so good. I mean I've heard many people say that Robbie E works hard and yet all I see on TV is him being nothing special.

You don't have to be a former independent wrestler to be liked. Trish and Victoria were models, Naomi was a Laker Girl, and Summer Rae and Charlotte have never worked an indie in their lives. Guess what? I like them all.

I haven't seen her wrestle for months but last time I did she was improving, however she just comes across as such a unlikable person, her attitude just seems poisonous.

She's a heel though so she should be smart like The Miz was an use that smark hate to fuel her character. Basically put her in the ring with Brie and AJ and have her cut a promo about how the basement dwellers hate her because she's not married to some indie darling that they can relate to as fellow losers. Insta heat!

So, just watched NXT. What the hell?

What a bad ending for a really good match. I just don't get it. If the ref was basically waving Zayn off, telling him that the match would not be continuing, why would he then allow Neville to initiate action against Zayn, and then count the pitfall? It just doesn't make sense.

For me the Bella's have improved in their ability to wrestle. But their voices are like nails on a chalk board and the both need acting classes.

Also I know I am in the minority but paper bags over their heads would improve my ability to tolerate them.

My brother was at House of Hardcore last night and had a backstage pass. Met a few people (Gail Kim, Austin Aries, Velvet Sky) and a few others. Also put up a good write up.

In front of a sold out crowd, House of Hardcore put on an amazing show at the old ECW arena last night, Saturday, November 15th. Wrestling Done Right was there, with an "All Access" pass. Imagine our surprise when we went in the back and saw several non advertised TNA guys. How would they be used? Would they be used? Was that the only surprises? After meeting, and conversing with people like Austin Aries, The Young Bucks, and Eddie Edwards, it was show time.

After a decent match between Christian York and Brian Meyers (Formally Curt Hawkins) Hawkins threw a tantrum and refused to leave the ring. In the first shocker of the night, Ricardo Rodriguez made his way to the ring and announced Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio easily dispatched Meyers and then went on a rant about being glad to be at HoH and able to wrestl in America after someone tried to stop him. He seemed legit excited, and happy. He said at places like HoH they aren't "Sports Entertainers, they are F'n Wrestlers!" The sold out crowd of over 1,200 people went absolutely crazy!

Team Tremendous & Little Guido took on Anthony Green, Vik Dalishus and Ben Ortiz in a very good match. Honestly I wasn't impressed for the first half of the match, but every guy really turned it up and had the crowd in the palm of their hands the second half of their match.

Eddie Edwards and Eddie Kingston put on a wrestling clinic that had the high spot fans chanting boring, but it was a great ":wrestling" match up!

Tony Nese overcame Alex Reynolds and Lance Anoaia with a sick looking reverse frankensteiner from the top rope! Nese is always great, but seems to really turn it up for his HoH appearances.

Austin Aries and Drew Galloway (Formally Drew McIntyre) had the crowd chanting "this is awesome" and "this is wrestling" for their entire match. Both men gave the wild crowd all that they had in one of the best matches of the night.

In another shocking surprise, the fill in for EC3, who had to cancel for his extreme rules match with Tommy Dreamer, due to injury, was none other than the TNA World champion, Bobby Roode! Not only that, but Roode insisted that the TNA World title would be on the line! Roode and Dreamer beat the hell out of each other all match long, that saw numerous run ins including Velvet Sky and Spike Dudley. Roode eked out the victory, but it was Dreamers night. He gave a rousing speech, introducing both his daughters (The Twinovators lol) and then allowed his wife Beulah Mcgillicutty, to say goodbye to her hometown crowd. It was a very touching, emotional moment in the midst of wild and crazy violence.

In match the of the night, The Young Buck took on the Hardys. Fans couldn't stay in their seats and the Hardy's actually filled the heel role all match long. Both teams uses every move in their arsenal, including each other's finishers. After the mind blowing match, you had to hear everything that was said, see who all hit the ring, and watched everything that went down. HoH had to kick us all out afterwards because no one wanted to leave!

For more details, including Adam's impressions and thoughts about all that was said by Del Rio, The Dudley's and Dreamer, as well as our backstage experience, tune in to From the Top Turnbuckle podcast, right here at www.wrestlingdoneright.com this Tuesday!

So....with Spike TV about to sack Impact Wrestling. Does that free up space for GFW to be the new Wrestling show on Spike TV?

I think that would be nice but I'd REALLY love to see if they can get a deal with Ted Turner and get Into his checkbook. Then they'd really have a fighting chance at being WWE's competition.

Yea Niki has improved a little, but her real life personality isn't very likable. She is shallow and superficial. Brie seems more down to earth ( much like Daniel Bryan) from what I seen.

On Brock Lesnar and the WWE title rarely appearing on TV or PPVs: “I had no issue only seeing Brock occasionally on RAW but to not see him for endless stretches of time isn’t a good scenario for WWE or their fans. Apparently, WWE made a financial deal that isn’t company or fan friendly.”

I like Brock but it was REALLY stupid to have him be champ and still be this part time guy who leaves for weeks and months at a time. Same deal as the Rock who only defends at PPV's and rare appearances on Raw or a pre recorded backstage segment. It's a slap in the face to all the full time guys and girls the WWE has who constantly get buried for speaking their minds even though they work hard. It's also one of the reasons CM Punk walked out, which really I don't blame him.

The main reason I was excited about a Lesnar title reign was the possibility of some great, fresh matchups. Instead we get Cena x 3 and probably Reigns at Wrestlemania. Talk about missed opportunity.

So Briscoe vs. Cole at Final Battle is a Fight Without Honor. That definitely makes me more interested in the match.

Well I will say that she's improved tons. And there are people that simply refuse to acknowledge it.

Edit - I mean in the ring. On the mic both Bellas are still pretty damn bad.

How do you know their real life personalities?

Please don't say Total Divas...

Well judging from what people like Maria Kanellis had to say about her, Nikki seems to be an unlikeable person. She apparently got jealous just because Maria was dancing with Ziggler as a friend once...then there's the whole story where she politicked to keep her out of the company.

Maybe she has improved but I don't her in-ring style seriously at all. I find her working like John weird and it doesn't work for me.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Macho Man had ran ideas by Vince for potential feuds to put Bret and Shawn over in that got vetoed?

If so that's a real shame because both those feuds could have been great

Watching the IC title match between Bret Hart and Davey Boy... Man, as a kid and teenager, I never liked The British Bulldog that much...don't know why but he didn't make an impression on me but over time, I've began to gain more respect for the man as a worker...especially because of the Summerslam match between him and Bret.

However I still thought it sucked that he died but growing up I liked Bret, Shawn, Owen, and Perfect more than him.

Nailed it

Savage has a lot left in the tank around that time too.

Every Diva says that it's their dream to be a wrestler, while it may be true for most of them when was the last time one said that it wasn't their dream and was just a job?

For example, maybe it's me but I highly doubt it was either Bella's dream to be a wrestler (especially Nikki). They just ran with it and started to get better, somewhat, and of course the relationship aspects of it.
