I like Brock but it was REALLY stupid to have him be champ and still be this part time guy who leaves for weeks and months at a time. Same deal as the Rock who only defends at PPV's and rare appearances on Raw or a pre recorded backstage segment. It's a slap in the face to all the full time guys and girls the WWE has who constantly get buried for speaking their minds even though they work hard. It's also one of the reasons CM Punk walked out, which really I don't blame him.

At least The Rock made appearances. McMahon not paying Lesnar more money so he can just sit at home baffles the mind.

The main reason I was excited about a Lesnar title reign was the possibility of some great, fresh matchups. Instead we get Cena x 3 and probably Reigns at Wrestlemania. Talk about missed opportunity.

Agreed. We couldn't even get Lesnar Vs. Orton FFS!

Is there any truth to the rumor that Macho Man had ran ideas by Vince for potential feuds to put Bret and Shawn over in that got vetoed?

Hart was supposed to work with Warrior at Royal Rumble 1993, but that didn't happen due to the firing for HGH use. Then he was supposed to work with Hogan at SummerSlam 1993, but that didn't work either. What should've happened was Savage putting Hart over so The Hitman could've gotten the big rub he never did. Instead, McMahon had The Macho Man doing commentary on the sidelines. -_-

I'd always heard it was because Hogan and Elizabeth had an affair.

One of the reasons Savage hated Hogan for the longest time (along with his politics) was because he blamed him for failure of his marriage as supposedly the Hogans got in Liz's ear about leaving Randy. She went to stay with them for the weekend and coincidentally filed for divorce afterwards.

Reddit user MetsFan4Ever is reporting that Dolph Ziggler may be doing double duty at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014.

Won't be the first time. He did it 3 years ago at MSG!

This is supposed to be underground though. Why do the backstage segments look so professional and staged? Do hidden camera stuff or something.

Daredevil is also a street level, gritty story...but I expect it to have good production values and multiple cameras etc. This show is presented as a tv show, not a sport...but in the context of that tv show, the matches are presented as really happening...much like any other tv show presents their events as really happening.

Watched the 3rd episode of Lucha Underground...

1. Konnan is more than a manager for Prince Puma...he's like a recruiter for the fed.
2. The owner is re-established as a guy who wants to bring the best matches to the people, then IMMEDIATELY goes to the ring and insults the fans and Lucha Libre.
3. We are two and half weeks in and not a single worthwhile heel exists. The top heel in the company has lost his only singles match, beat up a midget, a girl, and (in a tag match) beat up a guy whose only victory was against a girl.
4. Vampiro mentions that he didn't like Chavo, but he really got won over by Chavo beating up a midget and now he's a big Chavo fan...then IMMEDIATELY we get sent to an interview between Vampiro and Chavo where Vampiro is 100% confrontational against him. I know it was pre-recorded "earlier this week" but it went against the narrative that he had JUST established in the live shot. What is with Vampiro's commentary??? He's awful and what he's saying is actually hurting the flow of the show.
5. Konnan confronts Chavo...tells him to disappear because the streets don't like what he's been doing. But wait...the owner wanted Blue Demon destroyed...and Konnan is kind of the recruiter/co-conspirator with the owner. Whatever.
6. The vignettes are still good. Mil Muertes was the subject, with a backstory involving a major earthquake that struck Mexico. He's suddenly a face now, after being brought in to defeat the legendary Blue Demon last week and then being forgotten about. Prince Puma was spotlighted as well in another good vignette. It's a shame that he is being presented as a franchise player yet he has lost his only singles match thus far.
7. I'm officially okay with the fictional tv show presentation of the skits. It's a tv show, not a fake sport. Maybe I'll get sick of it.
8. Johnny Mundo is the right guy to be the top face of the company.

That's kind of jarring to be honest. I mean it feels like the segments and matches in the arena aren't connected because they make the segments look like they're from another show entirely with the lighting and stuff.

Seth Rollins recently spoke in an interview about wanting to be WWE’s top heel for a long time to come. A source noted that Triple H sees Rollins as one of the company’s top heels and likened him to WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Triple H feels that Rollins has similar delivery, the in-ring look and style that Edge had but that Rollins is an even better version.

Vince McMahon is also high up on Rollins for paying his dues and Rollins’ likeable personality backstage. Vince has had some concerns about Rollins’ size but that’s not stopping them from going full force with his push.

Vince is never going to get over his big men ***** completely, is he?

Also would anyone be in favor of WWE bringing back the "Best of 7" series for feuds...especially ones over midcard belts?

This to me is a good way to give rematches more context without playing hot potato with the belt OR exhausting the crowd of the feud by making it drag. WWE already has a knack for rematches but this could make it more meaning ful. Because there are several ways to go about it..

- They can have 6 of the matches on the smaller PPVs and have a big blowoff Stipulation match at the big name PPV

- They can have 6 matches on TV and the blowoff on PPV

And hell you can abuse the internal logic of the stipulation somewhat

- You can cut the amount of matches short by making the loophole that 7 pinfall is all that matter and have a 2 out of 3 Falls match somewhere in there as a blowoff

OR

Do the reverse and make it to where it's 7 official matches and where the pinfall are just minor semantics to where they have 6 different matches and an Iron Man match as a blowoff so the heel and face can build drama around how many pinfall a they have between them.

I'd be behind this especially when it comes to a Dolph Ziggler vs Tyson Kidd feud because with Tyson's "FACT" gimmick this would be prime material IMO.

I think they should do rotating tournaments for the IC, US and Tag belts every month culminating in the match at the PPV. That would fill a lot of TV time with quality matches without having to worry about this one and that one being in an actual feud. Just let people go out there and work.

It's annoying, but since the winning formula with Sammartino and Hogan made him and his father rich, I can see why he doesn't want to go the Austin route again.

But Vinnie Mac forgets that as time changes....Interest change.

Vince is just such a damn control freak that he thinks he can condition fans to liking what he likes.

Here's another AJ Lee could be leaving WWE rumor.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com mentioned during Sunday's edition of Wrestling Observer Live that there’s a rumor going around in WWE that if AJ Lee loses the Divas Championship to Nikki Bella at Survivor Series, then fans may not be seeing her around much longer in WWE.

That was following the news that AJ was rebranding herself online as AJ Brooks. WWE officials aren’t keen on their talent having outside ventures, so it was definitely a curious move for AJ to make.

Brooks is of course the name she took when marrying CM Punk. By trading on AJ Brooks, she is potentially providing a new brand for life outside the WWE. Retiring from WWE would mean she can spend more time with Punk, who left the organization in January.

Still, this is a rumor for now. AJ was linked with the exit previously in 2014 and those stories proved to be false. At one point nobody expected her to come back to WWE when out on vacation with Punk, but then she did come back and won the Divas Championship again.

She’s a good worker and character. However, she does seem a little lost in the division. She’s the champion, but really has fulfilled all of her career goals. There aren't many compelling feuds lined up for her. Instead, she spends most of her time hearing “CM Punk” chants.

Losing the title to Nikki at Survivor Series could be the end of AJ Lee, but she’s also proved to be resilient and capable of comebacks. Time will tell when it comes to this rumor.

So is control freak a nice way of saying Megalomanic?

I really hope the rumors of Eve Torres returning is true, she was a pretty great wrestler when she used more of her jujitsu near the end of her run.

She'd be a solid opponent for AJ Lee, Emma, Nattie and/or Paige.

Just watch, she and Rener Gracie will join Total Divas.

As Bernie Mac would say, "I'm not gonna believe **** till **** happens!

Sneak peek of tomorrow night's Monday Night War ep:

I've resigned myself to the fact that Punk will likely never return and that I wont watch another WWE show, so I wouldn't be surprised if AJ is getting her affairs in order before starting the next phase of her life without the controlling machine of WWE and it's ego-maniacal owners.

I imagine she'll stick around until Mania if they want her to, if her contract is up before then she'll probably just leave at the end of the calender year.

Edge had one advantage to Rollins that's not a huge deal but I have noticed it. His voice is deeper and more intense. Rollins has got a slight nasal-y voice thing going on. Just a minor thing.

People are clearly dropping f-bombs in that video.
