What Did you guys think of the Bret Hart vs Razor Ramon feud that lead to their match at Royal Rumble?

I think it's overlooked in comparison to some of Bret's other feuds, and it had a solid match to blow it off. They were a pretty good foil
for each other IMP, Bret the straight laced technician that puts shades on the kids and everything versus the luxurious Badass that throws his toothpicks.

Hope I can still enjoy Raw after all the Bret Hart tape study I've been doing this week. I'm at the beginning of the post WM9 point in his career finally...

Bret added such great subtle touches to his matches that just made them go from good to great. For instance, in the Bret Hart vs Ramon match at Royal Rumble, I thought it was a tiny stroke of genius the way the ending sequence was handled, where Bret trapped Ramon with that pin just for him to kick out and it in turn made it easier for him to synch in the Sharpshooter.

That made it look like Ramon shot himself in the foot by kicking out the way he did.

ADR showed up unannounced at House Of Hardcore in the ECW arena. I'm glad to see Internet fans finally accepting him. Its been a long time coming! Viva Del Rio!

Pretty impressive given that Ramon had only been with the company for 4 months before getting a WWF Championship title shot on PPV. They had a good match a few months later at KOTR, but I prefer their Royal Rumble match with the title on the line. You also had the emotional factor play into the storyline since The Bad Guy had attacked Owen to make it personal for The Hitman.

Edit: After The Hitman gave his shades out at ringside, Ramon throws his toothpick at the kid!
