Cody has been bringing it lately

They need to show this on RAW.

An "anonymous top" WWE superstar.

Probably Batista or Orton.

TNA officials are looking to beef up both their tag team and Knockouts divisions with cheaper and younger talent. Dragon Gate USA’s Sal Hamaoui let it slip on social media that TNA has signed women’s wrestling star Santana Garrett. TNA officials weren’t happy about the information getting out as they’ve been trying to keep Santana’s signing quiet.

According to a source, TNA had been courting the second generation star for most of last year and there was also WWE interest. We’re told she actually agreed to a contract in November but TNA had kept it quiet.

TNA has been relying on Christy Hemme to help resurrect the Knockouts division. Hemme has picked up considerable backstage responsibilities in working with the Knockouts and is very high up on Garrett. The reason why she hasn’t debuted on television yet is because Hemme hasn’t finalized plans for her.

As of this past Monday afternoon, one thing that still had morale down among some WWE talents was the fact that the company had still not addressed how pay-per-view payoffs are going to be handled with the launch of the WWE Network later this month.

To say the roster is nervous would be a “huge understatement” and according to one source, the longer WWE officials wait to address it, the worse the roster is going to assume the news is.

This issue has been a hot topic backstage since the WWE Network announcement in Las Vegas last month and it’s an issue that preceded the chaos over Daniel Bryan and now the situation with CM Punk. The Network uncertainty is said to be one of Punk’s frustrations.

Word going around backstage on Roman Reigns is that he has been “like a sponge” while working with ring veterans Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose and has listened to everything they’ve told him on how to get better.

Word is that Reigns has a great attitude where he respects his partners in The Shield because they have paid their dues. Roman has been willing to learn with a very humble attitude.

- It was announced at tonight’s WWE live event in Kansas City, Missouri that John Cena was injured and would not be there. Refunds were offered. Cena was scheduled to face Randy Orton in the main event but Orton said Cena had an eye injury. Daniel Bryan then came out and challenged Orton for the main event.

Cena did wrestle Orton at Saturday night’s WWE live event in Orlando. CM Punk was also scheduled for the event that Cena missed tonight in Kansas City.

How may ppv paychecks change after the network launches?

I hope Roman keeps the great attitude and keeps learning

Cody has been bringing it lately

Haha Cody is awesome. He might be in my fav 5 playa

Yet another promo that should have been on TV.

Exactly what I was thinking. Cody is a future WWE champion IMO. I'd love to see title feuds between Cody vs Cena, Cody vs Ziggler, Cody vs Wyatt, Cody vs Ambrose, Cody vs Sheamus (They had great chemistry as did Cody and ADR) and Cody vs Bryan. Those are all matches and feuds I'd love to see. And, IMO Cody is just about ready.

Cody has really won me over in the ring over the last year. I always thought he was good, but his face work in the ring has really won me over.

The news about Reigns above just makes me an even bigger fan. Also I'm a fan of Santana Garrett, was hoping she'd show up in NXT.

if Cody and Goldust split, who do you think will remain the face?

Cody sold me way back when he wore the protective mask. That was a terrible gimmick that he knocked out of the park on charisma alone. I said then I wanted to see him and Ziggler main event Wrestlemania in a few of years.

The rise of Daniel Bryan has changed the landscape since then, but Ziggler and Rhodes are still both critically underutilized. They should be much farther along on the path to main-eventing Wrestlemania.

Regardless of how we all feel about them now, years ago, I'm sure many of us (myself included) felt that Cena and Orton were going to become the future top guys, and were excited when it actually happened. Of course, the reason it happened is because there was a very clear "changing of the guard," a vacuum at the top left by the departure of guys like Austin and Rock, that demanded to be filled. If that hadn't happened, Cena and Orton would have been the Ziggler and Rhodes of their day, I think. Underutilized.

Now there is no such vacuum, and that's what's making it so easy for Vince to keep guys like Ziggler and Rhodes in the midcard. If something doesn't force the issue, he'll never clue in to the talent he's sitting on.

if Cody and Goldust split, who do you think will remain the face?

Intuitively, it should be Goldust. The fans are behind him more, to be frank, and the "ungrateful young punk vs. the wise, seasoned veteran" is a natural storyline.

Awesome to hear about Roman Reigns. It's funny, I'm pretty sure most of us thought he would be the weakest link, (I figured Rollins would be the first from The Shield to really take off) but he ends up being the first to really get over with the crowd... Which is cool. He has definitely become one of my favorites.

I still want to see Zack Ryder vs Dolph Ziggler at WM. :csad: Their match at TLC for the US Belt was really awesome, IMO. At this point, they'd be lucky to get a pre-show match... Which really sucks.

Good news about Roman and I'm glad that TNA is try to give us SOME of what we want by putting in fresh faces for the male roster and the Knockouts...which used to be a HUGE draw for TNA

As for the Cody and Ziggler comments I completely agree. If it wasn't for backstage politics or that one track mind Booking BS that WWE does, they could be largely focused on as the next top guys.

A title reign that amounted to nothing because of stupid crap like this.

How are so many missing the point?

amounted to nothing? what woukd you have a record title reign amount to? You cant keep him in the title scene for ever, it is good to have him away for it for a while, even the Rock and Austin had time away from the title scene in their heyday! And it's not like Punk started having feuds with Ryder, he took on Taker at Mania, Brock Lesnar in the Sumemr and has been used to help to legitimise The Shield and Wyatts as forces to be reckoned with - he cant be in the title scene 24/7 and from all accounts he was tentatively planned to be in it again later this year anyway

With that said I think it is a work anyway
