Austin's recent podcast with Gabriel Iglesias was freaking hilarious.

Bryan eventually winning the wwe title again on any event would be good,I'd consider him lucky,He has already been lucky enough when you consider some big names who has never even won a WWF or WHC

It's a shame Mr Perfect never got to hold the WWF championship. These days guys like Swagger ( good but not great) have been handed championships just to get them over and it usually fails. Bryan doesn't need luck though. It's his year whether the wwe wants to ignore it or not. Bryan getting a shout out from the team t hat won the Super Bowl on the night of the event is an incredible feat.

Mick Foley reacts to CM Punk leaving:

[YT]eSr-5yyywc8[/YT]

Keep them coming Mick Foley! I think Punk will be talked into returning for Wrestlemania. Let him take off after summerslam and return to win next years rumble.

Also I give props to Punk for not taking the low road and calling Foley fat. The creative team really miss the mark to the point they seem like goons.

So this Bryan thing is STILL becoming more and more Transcendent? Wow

WWE would be fools not to capitalize on this and they say wrestlers like Bryan cant attract mainstream attention lol please.

P.S I really hope Cena is ok considering his recent Eye injury but All I can say is if Vince Mcmahon is left in a frenzy than it's more of him getting what he deserves and that's a huge bite in the ass at this point.

Mass hysteria is what can be said about the WWE right now.

If you had your own wrestling promotion, what would you call it? What championships would you have and what would you name your shows/events?

I'll give mine later.

With the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl and utilizing the YES! chant, WWE won't be able to ignore it once they air the homecoming victory on TV. Should be ****ing wild.

Anyone think once Roman goes face they'll make him all smiley like they did Cena and Sheamus, and take his edge off like they did his predecessor's?

Roman_reigns_3.png

Make no mistake, Roman Reigns as a white meat babyface WILL fail if it happens The only reason it works for Bryan is because he's a sympathetic underdog who puts on amazing matches. You guys can save this post and throw in my face if I'm wrong. We don't need another Rocky Maivia.

I hope that one SHIELD breaks up that roman doesn't go back to his regular wrestling shorts look. I think his current getup suits him best when it comes to portraying a powerhouse to be reckoned with.

WIE (Wrestling Is Entertainment)

Titles:

World Heavyweight Championship
Ironman Championship (15 min. time limit, typically held by lighter wrestlers but not exclusive to them.)
Women's Championship
Tag Team Championship

Tagline "The keyword is wrestling".

I'll think of shows later.

Speaking about The Shield's future attire, I've had a few thoughts on this (since I have too much fee time on my hands lol).

I see Roman wearing some type of loose fitting pants so he's not stuck in trunk or tights like most of the roster, but he should still show off his powerful physique.

Rollins should go back to trunks, because even though it might seem generic, his flashy style will still set him apart from the pack.

Ambrose is the only one I think should remain in Shield like attire. He's got decent enough height and is in great shape, but without all his gear I'm afraid he'd look too small, which I don't care about, but might hurt him in the eyes of the company. His current attire lets him move well, while not showing he's less jacked than everyone else. Sort of reminds me of Foley... As Mankind, he didn't wear special wrestling clothes, he was just a sick dude who could come out and maim you. Let Ambrose be the guy who isn't wearing wrestling tights, but who knows his way around the ring and who might just tear you to shreds for the fun of it while wearing his previous stable's attire.

Agreed.

On another note, I was just reading a previous report on how it was said that one of the reasons why Vince is trying so hard to get CM Punk back is because he feels that there aren't enough top superstars in the company.

When I read that, I was like..."Wow". If that report is accurate, then Vince is a bigger tool than he's given credit for. The guy already has a locker room filled with talented people waiting to get their due, but Vince is too blind to see it.

Ugh, that look would be terrible for Reigns. Generic, uninspired and totally not badass. I actually think that whoever came up with the idea of the Shield looking like they do, with the evil military/mercenary-like attire, had a stroke of genius. The Shield and the Wyatts have a unique look that sets them apart from everyone else.
When the Shield breaks up and Roman gets his push to superstardom, he should retain some of the qualities he had. Like being a scary badass. If they make him a smiling, goody-two-shoes type of face (Cena, Sheamus) I'll puke.

As to Punk... I'm starting to think this just might be a work. Or at least that the situation may not be as dire as the media makes it sound.
Think about it, with all this talk how Punk was frustrated that he was going to job for Triple H at Mania, the heat piles on. And imagine if that match do happens at Mania. The crowd will go nuts. Imagine "if HHH wins, we riot" signs and whatnot. Even if Triple H may not be in the best of shapes anymore, the heat with the whole "Punk left because Hunter's a dick" thing will make the match memorable enough.

One of the reasons for Bryan not being pushed as the guy I keep reading is that his merchandise sales aren't high, nor are the house shows he's headlining.

My thoughts on that...If everytime someone tunes in, Bryan is getting his butt kicked, why would they stick around? Who sticks around to watch their hero get beat up all of the time? Had they put the machine behind him, protected him and really pushed him, he could've been a good draw. I'm sure Cena wasn't drawing serious numbers in his few months and it had to build up with him looking strong. Bryan needs to have the machine behind him, as well as more RAWs of him coming out victorious.

And he needs better merchandise. His best item is the beard t-shirt. I think it was Sweetre15 who suggested better designed merchandise. Not sure how many people want to buy a shirt with a flying goat on it.

CM Punk's shirts always had cool designs. Bryan needs the same.

Maybe something in the vein of Kevin Nash's attire would be suitable? Not necessarily the leather pants, but the idea of loose attire. Shirt on shirt off

the new botchamania really sums up how awful the rumble was

Do you know where I can find it??

Edit: I just found it on Botch At The Beach's YT page before it was taken down. Hilarious as usual! :lmao:

I agree with you on the choice of gear for Reigns & Rollins... Reigns in trunks would just look awkward, hopefully he just sheds the vest once the split occurs. I could even see something like Sabu's gear working for Reigns too.

I'm okay with Rollins in trunks too - most of the gear he wore in FCW & NXT was actually pretty unique. His trunks & kickpads always were generally pretty colorful, but even if they weren't it was a cohesive look from top to bottom which was pretty neat.

Ambrose, I have a harder time figuring out what works for him. He doesn't look terrible in trunks, but I think I'd rather see him in jeans or even cut-off jeans (similar to Stone Cold's out of ring gear, or Jamie Noble's ring gear). Just something that sets him apart as a brawler, somebody who would jump you in a dark alley, that type of styling... Both he & Reigns can eventually transition to trunks if they want, but I think they both should wait a while before that happens.

APW (American Professional Wrestling)

World Heavyweight Championship
Tag Team Championship
Lightweight championship

Show would be on Tuesday. I'd call it Ignition, and my WrestleMania PPV would be called Shockwave.
