The Rock is an outlier because he had the backing of his samoan family legacy. The Samoan family in general has always been influential in the WWE.In regards to saying "if you're not one of the 10 best wrestlers in the company...", I can give you a LONG list of guys who weren't one of the top 10 (Jinder Mahal, Sycho Sid, Vince McMahon, JBL, Edge *at the time*, Sheamus, amongst others). Vince pushes who Vince wants to push. It's why guys like Booker T, Shelton Benjamin, D'Lo Brown and Apollo Crews, while extremely talented, get stuck with dumb gimmicks and get buried when they don't immediately get over.
With New Day being over "as a group", Triple H wasn't "over" until he got with DX. THEN he got a shot to run solo. New Day's merch probably sells on par with DX and none of them have gotten a chance to get solo runs since being on in the New Day. If you don't think Big E could be a world champ, then we're not going to agree on this. I'd also argue you'd be in the minority.
You won't hear me argue that there haven't been tons of other Champions that didn't deserve it. Though Sid I would argue did. But Mahal (Who is a minority BTW), JBL, Miz, Sheamus, yup, none of them deserved it either. And Edge didn't deserve to win it 11 freaking times. Of the guys you named, only Booker T deserved a World Title run and he got 2 World Championship reigns. The Rock was an outlier because he was freaking great, Booker T got 2 runs because he was very, very good. Mark Henry wasn't even a good wrestler, he won the World Championship. Lashley was in the World Title picture last time before he got hurt and moved on, and I think he will win Universal or WWE Championship this go round. What other elite black wrestlers should have been World Champion? Ron Simmons was past his prime when he came to WWE, he did win the tag belts 3 times. The Godfather, MVP, Ahmed Johnson, Titus O'Neal, JTG, R-Truth, Crews, I mean, these are the best black wrestlers there have been, which one of them honestly deserved a World Championship run? None. Are you honestly arguing that D'Low Brown or Shelton Benjamin are World Champion level talent. They both won the IC belt, that was their talent level (D'Low being IC level is debatable). D'Low Brown World Champion, lmao... Lashley is probably the 3rd or 4th best black wrestler of All-Time and even he's never really been a Top 5 wrestler in the world. If you're arguing that they should win just because they are minorities, fine, say that or that they should win because other crap wrestlers have won, OK, I can give the point that other crap wrestlers have won. But I'm not buying that Vince purposely holds them down, sorry. Be one of the best, like the Rock or Booker and you will get some Title runs. Be mediocre like D'Low, Titus, Crews, MVP etc., you get what you get.
(Triple H didn't deserve as many title runs as he got either, just for the record)
Big E isn't even one of the 5 best "big men" in WWE... Brock, Braun, Lashley, Joe, Rusev, Wyatt, Owens, Reigns, even Corbin and McIntyre are better. Then you have all the smaller guys... He shouldn't even be in consideration for World Champ.
