Super fun match with a nice, but predictable ending. I never get sick of Wyatts vs. Shield and I'm sure Shield/Evolution II is gonna be a **** load of fun.

Ok..If they're not dumping Big Dirty... Why is Bryan/Kane continuing?

This was very solid RAW. The Kane stuff is ridiculous but Bryan got a good match in the middle of it. The in-ring content was strong and angles progressed.

Can anybody please tell me what the Hell was Batista trying to do on the steel steps. That was the worse slam on the steel steps I've ever seen somebody do.

More quality between The Shield and The Wyatt's, surrprised that Reigns took the pin but I guess he had to given that Rollins and Ambrose took out the other 4 guys as human torpedoes.

For a moment there I thought we might get a 3 way faction feud when Harper & Rowan clattered into Batista and Orton, but no, it's gonna be a gimmick rematch between The Shield and Evolution, which is fine by me.

Overall a good Raw, I don't hate the Bryan/Kane angle as much as some, I am just not a fan of it either, Cesaro/RVD, Bryan/ADR, Barrett/Big E, Battle Royal and Shield/Wyatt's were all good matches.

It's not like he was fired. Punk walked out. I love Punk. He's one of the reasons I got back into wrestling. However, I'm not going to lose sleep over a guy quitting his job, no matter how much I enjoyed watching him do it. At this point, I would actually be annoyed if he came back and won the title right away. It would feel about as natural as Batista winning the Rumble.

I don't think anyone was suggesting he come back in and win the WWE title immediately, unless of course he did as a hypocrite heel, but just having him back amongst the stuff going on would be great. For instance after Cena, Bray could call himself the voice of voiceless and say he has replaced Punk as the mouthpiece for a generation, just a cool angle with a lot of potential, no title win needed.

Because Dave reportedly doesn't want to job to Bryan again (I actually understand his viewpoint), and WWE doesn't have another opponent lined up for him. So, they turned to company man Kane to keep their feud going until they get Bryan's next challenger into position.

I would say, but I'm gonna end up being a "negative Nancy" for not liking this Raw tonight....:o

What would you say? It was reported earlier that he'd agreed to stay but didn't want to work the match with Bryan, so instead they are booking The Shield vs Evolution II.

Y'know Bryan has had a pretty fantastic couple of months, he's been booked center stage and WrestleMania was all about him and he main evented the PPV last night. Having four more weeks working with Kane while The Shield gets the shine off the better heels is not gonna kill him.

So Hornswoggle vs. El Torito is going to continue.

It's not going to be as stupidly awesome as the WeeLC match.

The fair thing to do would have Batista win the title off Bryan at Payback, use it to promote the movie, then drop it back to Bryan at SummerSlam.

I would love the Bryan/Kane feud if these "horror movie" segments weren't so embarrassingly bad. It's almost like they are trying to kill Bryan's heat like that Cena/Kane feud from 2012 killed Zack Ryder as a star. Bre Bella and her terrible acting makes Eve's acting from that feud look Emmy awarding winning quality by comparison.

I think it would work better with Kane's Attitude era mask, for some reason.

Batista can't hold the title that long since he has to take time off for the summer for his Guardians promotional tour.

Well the one thing that hopefully keep Bryan from dying the death of Zack Ryder is that despite the horror stuff, We know Bryan's not going to be getting crippled and make to be a jobbing sacrificial lamb for someone else.

No disrespect to Ryder but he's not on Bryan's level. It's going to be harder to kill the Yes Movement.

And he's never won THE world championship in the main event of Wrestlemania.

Also Adam Rose/Leo Kruger is really underrated because he's had three gimmicks and thrown himself into each one. He changes his style to fit the gimmick. Dude is committed and will go the extra mile.

This Bryan/Kane stuff is just woeful. I get it, they want to make Kane threatening. The physical beatdown he did on Bryan a couple of weeks back, with the three Tombstones, did that. But now they're just turning him into a cartoon character. And while Kane is pretty much bulletproof, in that it seems he has been able to do an infinite amount of nonsense over the years and still remain somewhat credible, all this crap could potentially hurt Daniel Bryan. His mic work has improved to the point where he can cut a really good promo, but he isn't yet at that top tier level of charisma where he can sell even a rotten segment and make it almost feel worthwhile. He just looks lost out there. And while Bryan and Brie seem like a lovely couple in real life, on TV, every time Brie appears I'm reminded of what a grating, wooden, unlikeable TV presence the Bellas have always been. She's dragging Bryan down like a millstone around his neck, and hopefully there are no plans to make her his valet long-term beyond this current storyline.

As others have said, though, it's one stinker of a week after a couple of months of great booking for Bryan, plus even amidst it all he still managed to have a good match. I don't see it killing his heat just yet. And I can see this as WWE Creative "testing" Bryan, to see if he has the chops to handle the goofiest of "SPORTZ ENTERTAINMENT!" stories that a top guy will have to deal with from time to time: see also, John Cena VS Bray Wyatt. But they need to rebound with some competent booking next week to avoid this story becoming a total car wreck.

In response to the Adam Rose character, I think there'd be more of a place for him if the company had a healthy midcard. Whereas in recent years, it's seems you're either main event or a jobber, and so a comedy character unlikely to be primed for a main event spot under their current gimmick seems like a waste. However, with the attempts to revive the IC and US titles, Rose could find himself with somewhere to go after all. From all accounts he's a talented wrestler, and so he could be a useful tool in building up that midcard.

I wonder how on the fly was the Kane/Bryan stuff on Monday since their original plan was to start the Batista/Bryan feud. As Keyser said, maybe next week will be better.

Expect Adam Rose's name to be changed to Rose at some point. And I'm looking forward to when Brock interrupts Rose's entrance, beats up the entourage and F-5s Rose while he's dancing. :funny:
