Adam Rose's entourage catching him is a Royal Rumble spot that absolutely has to happen.

Been one since his first match as Rose.

I'm aware. You were the first Rosebud of the thread :). I wanted him to debut with the Kraven gimmick but I'm enjoying this. He does an excellent Aldous Snow. Glad he's finally on the main roster.

happy aswell for rose finally making it to the main roster

In response to the Adam Rose character, I think there'd be more of a place for him if the company had a healthy midcard. Whereas in recent years, it's seems you're either main event or a jobber, and so a comedy character unlikely to be primed for a main event spot under their current gimmick seems like a waste. However, with the attempts to revive the IC and US titles, Rose could find himself with somewhere to go after all. From all accounts he's a talented wrestler, and so he could be a useful tool in building up that midcard.

I think over the past two days, we have seen a renewed focus on the midcard, with Barrett and Sheamus now holding the two junior singles titles.

Sheamus should feud with Big Show for the US title. I loved their rivalry. This time though, Sheamus would go over in the feud.

As much as I enjoyed their series of matches in 2012, I think Sheamus would be better off working with a fresher face. While I still believe Big Show is one of the most underrated workers on the roster, I don't need to see him in an extended singles program any more. The use of Show in the battle royal was perfect IMO, as he's always a threat due to his size and he's not clogging up valuable screentime that way. WWE is in a tough spot right now, since they need to figure out how to effectively use their veterans without sacrificing screen time to guys who need more exposure.

Which leads me to my next thought... Raw was very odd last night, since there was absolutely no John Cena on the show, the Usos (the tag champs) didn't make an appearance, nor did Paige (the new Divas champ). While I enjoyed Shield-Wyatts IV, I think it was the worst of all their encounters (still not bad though) and really didn't add much to the continuing storyline with Evolution. Also, the burnt out crowd had a hard time caring so I'm worried they're overusing a matchup. Considering the Shield & Wyatts both had long segments earlier in the night, I think they would have been better off using the time they gave their match to someone like Paige & the Usos. Hell, make an intergender 6 man & allow a heel to get a pinfall victory to set up a match at Payback.

While I get that Shield & Wyatts are a big part of the company's future, I think they overutilized those guys last night. Might be an unpopular opinion, but a bunch of other guys could have used the screen time instead - Paige, Emma, the Usos, Ziggler, Sandow or Titus all could have benefitted.

I was just thinking for a face that a newly heel Sheamus could go over.

@Runaway I like that, but I'm also liking The Wrestling Thread Isn't a Lemon, It's a Rosebud

I see the logic, but I think it might not be a bad idea to put a heel against him for his first defense at Payback if we won't see Evolution split before then.

Since they seem to have no interest in doing something with Sandow, my vote would be to have Titus jump Sheamus again. Seems like there could be some unfinished business there from a couple weeks ago, especially now that Sheamus has a title. I think a couple vicious brawls between those two would really help legitimize Titus.

BTW, I haven't seen Big Show lately. Where is he?

Well Big Show did make an appearance in the battle royal for the US title last night - I think that the pushes of younger talent necessitate that guys like Big Show & Henry become guys who come & go as needed for TV. And really, that's probably the best use for the both of them.

If they are going to be on TV more regularly, they could help bolster the tag division. I'd re-team Henry & Big E, then maybe pair Big Show up with somebody else who's floundering (maybe Kofi? or reform ShowMiz? I dunno).

Ziggler eliminated by Santino.
Ziggler must of runover Vince dog or something :csad:
The U.S. Title won't do nothing for Sheamus. Turn him heel and maybe that'll do something, but as a face? Same ****, different day.
Unless Sheamus is turning heel or getting into a good U.S title feud with someone it seems like a waste to give him the title.
Brie Bella is HORRENDOUS. I understand it's Kane in 2014, but if I was Vince I would be mad as HELL about how she reacted when she saw that mask.
I hope someone gifted Brie Bella some acting classes as a wedding gift because she needs some.
Hey, if we're going to have a comedy segment on the show, I'd much rather it includes 3MB over Santino. Call me crazy, but I find Heath Slater more entertaining than a lot of guys who get pushes.
I don't hate Slater either. Heath at least has some entertainment value.
hey zeb, kangaroos are serious business
I saw some Australian show in which a guy talked about a kangaroo kicking his bloody ribs in and fracturing his eye socket.

I agree about the WWE needing a solid midcard and not just jobbing guys out.

Adam Rose works on NXT because the crowds get into the matches singing his theme, calling his opponents party poppers, ect. If he doesn't get over on the main roster with the crowd then this gimmick could crash and burn.

I liked the Leo Kruger gimmick as well.

I have no clue how often WWE runs Raw in Orlando, but for characters like Adam Rose & Bo Dallas I think they should really look into aligning debuts in the market that is most familiar with them (i.e. where NXT runs their shows). That way you'd garner more of a reaction in line with how the Full Sail crowds treat them... granted, the smarks who attend Full Sail won't make up the entire Raw crowd, but it only takes a few people chanting to get the crowd going.

I like that idea. Also, the bunny suit is a perfect set-up for a sneak attack.

Also Adam Rose/Leo Kruger is really underrated because he's had three gimmicks and thrown himself into each one. He changes his style to fit the gimmick. Dude is committed and will go the extra mile.

I agree, the guy is 100% committed to his craft and throws it all in. I don't even dislike the Adam Rose gimmick but I just feel it's Fandango 2.0 in it's limitations.

I wonder how on the fly was the Kane/Bryan stuff on Monday since their original plan was to start the Batista/Bryan feud. As Keyser said, maybe next week will be better.

What I would do next week is have Bryan come to the ring in his street clothes with a chair in hand and fists taped up. He cuts a short promo saying he's left the titles in the back and Brie at home, he doesn't need a ref as he just wants to fight Kane. Kane comes out and they have a wild pull-apart brawl which leads to Steph booking the Payback main event.

Both the Usos and Paige wrestled during the Superstars taping last night prior to Raw beginning (Usos vs. 3MB, Paige vs. Alicia Fox). Cena wrestled Bray in a dark match after Raw ended. I'm assuming they kept him off of tv to sell the "psychological scaring" that Bray has done to him.

Yeah, I saw where they wrestled on Superstars - but let's be honest, even with the Network it's not like the visibility of Superstars does much for any of these performers.

That's not to say the other shows are completely meaningless, but Raw is by far the most important platform and any screentime you get there is more or less what most people are going to see. It's great that the live crowd gets to see everyone, but I do think it's important for your champions to have a weekly presence on the flagship show.

Of course:

Another member of the famed Anoa'i family is trying her hand at professional wrestling as Lina Fanene, a 31-year-old former college basketball player from California, has signed a developmental contract with WWE.

In regards to how Fanene is related to the Anoa'i family, her uncle is WWE Hall of Famer High Chief Peter Maivia, the maternal grandfather of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. She began training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida last month.

Little is known of Fanene, although a quick Google search reveals that she played college basketball ten years ago at Palomar College, a San Diego County, California based community college.Another member of the famed Anoa'i family is trying her hand at professional wrestling as Lina Fanene, a 31-year-old former college basketball player from California, has signed a developmental contract with WWE.

I wonder, how many cousins does The Rock have and how many of them are in pro wrestling?

I wonder how many times you're going to keep making that same post?

At Wrestlemania, Rose needs to start in the nosebleed section, and crowd surf all the way to ringside.

Also, I think the regular entrance would work better if the exotic express actually pulled into the arena and the entourage spilled out from there.
