The Wrestling Thread...NINJA PLEASE! - Part 31

Miz and Truth are talking about a conspiracy...and there IS a conspiracy...you can't leave them out of it.

My point is, the storyline is lame. I didn't see the PPV but I'm sure the HHH/Punk match was good. I'm sure if I was watching I would have had this face,, once Miz and Truth came in. They have no business talking about some 'conspiracy' and they should have left it between Punk HHH and I guess Nash too. I stopped watching wrestling once people like the Miz started showing up but I've been watching Raw the past two months and I cringe at the sight of people like him and Ron Killings or Truth or w/e the hell he's called is even worse. He needs to go back to being the lower mid card talent he is.

So...you're suggesting that only Punk should know that there's a conspiracy, and that no one else should be affected by it, and once the conspiracy is revealed, those who have been held down should just stay out of it and let Punk handle it.

No...things like these always have your main event guys, and a few others to keep the storyline going in more segments.

Did you not understand anything I just said? I just told you the storyline sucks. It's one thing when Punk wanted change, it's a whole other thing when people are saying there is a conspiracy. It's all just pretty ridiculous. The end result is going to be horrible. A conspiracy...really? Who gives a ****.

I'm very happy for Mark Henry who's on the run of his life right now with the company. I've been loving his monster gimmick and the whole "Hall of Pain" gimmick is great. He's worked hard and got in great shape this year and look forward to seeing him being a monster champion. I'm liking the idea of Henry holding it till WM and Daniel Bryan being forced to face the unstoppable monster since he said he'd cash it in at Mania. Even knowing the odds are against him he still cashes it in.

A conspiracy is just a group of people with a goal. NWO was a conspiracy. The Corporate ministry was a conspiracy.

Heck...AIR BOOM is a conspiracy!

If Punk is right, and the company has been intentionally holding guys back and pushing less deserving guys, then it is a conspiracy...a group of suits making a decision. The problem is that if its just a suits, then there's no one for Punk to fight...so there must be others involved, unless you want John Laurenitis vs Punk at Mania...

Hunico knows english and has already done a promo as Sin Cara,They could have Ricardo turn face&join Mistico or just bring in someone else!!

Wrestlemania 21 - beat JBL

Royal Rumble 2006 - beat Edge

Unforgiven 2006 - beat Edge again (TLC)

Survivor Series 2008 - beat Jericho

Wrestlemania 25 - beat Edge by pinning Big Show

Breaking Point 2009 - beat Orton (I Quit)

Bragging Rights 2009 - beat Orton again (Iron Man)

Elimination 2010 - beat Helmsley again

WM 26 - beat Batista

Extreme Rules 2011 - beat Miz

RAW 2011 - beat Mysterio

Night of Champions 2011 - beat Del Rio

John Cena is a TWELVE time world champion already so he's the new Edge and he's going to break Ric Flair's record at this rate.

Hmph. The match between CM Punk and HHH did not go as I expected. So what, is Johnny Ace the Big Bad now? That's lame. Unless they go with a Russo-esque swerve later-on, they've lost the opportunity to give Punk a worthy adversary to carry him off to the next level. HHH should have been the one to pull the strings. Heck, even if he didn't want to turn heel and lose popularity with the crowd, now he looks even worse kayfabe-wise - he can't handle his own company and his subordinates are making him look like a fool right under his Nose. Meh. WWE, I am disappoint.

Other than that, I didn't watch the whole PPV.
I liked the tag team match, but they have to work a lot harder to make the tag divison matter. Air Boom and Awesome Truth are good teams, but they need more than just them.
The 4-way for the US title was too short, I think. The match would have been better had they given it a little more time.

And Cena is champion again. Yay  Congratulations, Del Rio, you were a champion for a few days, now you go to the midcard where you belong, just like the other former esteemed champs like Swagger and the Miz.

What I've noticed about the IWC, is that if things aren't booked exactly how people think they should be, and popular opinion is that Punk needed to go over to keep his heat (despite the crowd chanting his name LOUDLY right before the finish.) It's just crap, and nothing will ever make it interesting again. I know for a fact that 12 year old me would have s*** my pants at all that storyline development in that match.

Punk has yet to be buried since he slammed McMahon. They are pushing him to the moon, and tonight seals it. There's a hell of a lot more to come. The lack of patience is regrettable.

:up::up::up:

Most people here said Hunter needed to go over tonight.

Except when I said so and I got blasted for it.

Not one of us has said Punk has to win.....It's just where does this go now?Hunter turning heel seemed the next logical step but after tonight how do you logically explain he was in on all this?

Why don't we wait and see where they go with it before we judge something that hasn't happened yet?

I think part of the problem is that it seems as if the "Punk vs the evil corporation and their lackeys" is turning into "HHH fights the evil corporation and their lackeys in order to maintain control of WWE...and Punk helps him"

Pretty much this.

Pretty much this.

That's what it does look like, but I'm waiting to see. This really could go a number of ways.

I'm not upset at Awesome Truth getting involved in the match. Punk talked about making change, and this IMO is one of the things that have resulted. And the team is hunting down the conspiracy, so attacking the two of the people they feel is a part of it works.

I am curious about the inclusion of Johnny Ace into this. Perhaps he's Vince's puppet. What if Ace's purpose is to make HHH look incompetent so the board will fire him and bring Vince back?

Kelly Kelly seems to be the type of break down into tears at those chants, but if they turn heel, can they just drop one of the Kelly's? Going by "Kelly" only would make her heel turn legit.

she was watch the end of the match she's in tears at the top of the ramp

Except when I said so and I got blasted for it.

no, 99% agreed with you about HHH going over, what people disagreed(not blasted) was that fact that you seem to have blinkers on when it comes to guys like HHH and the rock in that neither can do any wrong, past present or future.

OK, after staying up til 4am (being in the UK sucks....) I'm now awake!

I liked the event, Rhodes vs DiBiase was a bit boring though.

Someone catch me up; does Daniel Bryan have a MITB contract for the World Heavyweight Title? Is that right? I heard that somewhere but missed that event......

We are talking about the King of Burials. I don't think we should be too shocked that H is back in the spotlight...again. :funny:

No in all seriousness I still want to give HHH a chance because I still think he'll put Punk over int he end however this turns out. If he doesn't..well...

I personally liked the idea someone had that Triple H is innocent but dealing with everyone's shenanigans and conspiracies with Punk on top of it drives him over the edge.

PPV was alright.

Tag match was my great.
Glad Henry won, guy deserves it.

John Cena winning the belt doesn't bother me, but Del Rio having a worse run than Swagger  Why book this guy so weak?

Not only that but they waste Rumble and MITB wins on the guy just to feed him to Cena. Also I feel the cross armbreaker should have been more protected.

Kelly beating Beth was BS. Its obvious now they had no strong plans for The Divas of Doom. They just put them together to feed to Kelly to keep her busy and maybe get her over in quick fix fashion.

Del Rios MITB win and cash in and title run has been a joke. They never should have given it to him so soon but getting beat that fast makes him look like a chump who deserved it even less.

He's the new Swagger.

Ad least Mark Henry won the title CLEAN from Orton apparently. Thas great.
:applaud

When did you get blasted for saying HHH should win the match?

so ADR's grand destiny........was to have a weak title run and lose to Cena??

and they pushed him so hard and gave him the title so soon for what purpose??

:whatever:
