Looking at the ME again If Rollins was selling a Knee injury think they faked a Rollins injury just because he isn't in the ME this Sunday and wanted a Kane Cena Reigns Orton type finish.

Now that I think about it, it IS interesting that Heyman approached Haitch and Steph BEFORE the main event and THEN Rollins gets "injured"...it's risky, but it could be a way to instigate a Rollins face turn.

One theory I've always had is that WWE is doing with the Shield what they never did with Bryan and Kane (where Kane was supposed to be Bryan's "man on the inside" in the Authority); except in this instance it's Rollins who's the mole. So Lesnar beats Cena at Summerslam, Reigns comes out and spears Lesnar, Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds, then the old "Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta" hits, Rollins emerges with the briefcase. Cash-in, Curb Stomp, Champion, reunited Shield.

I hope they didn't retire the Big Gold Belt last night. That was my favorite belt in all of wrestling aside from the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship. :waa:

Yeah it's definitely my favorite belt of all time. It looks like a million bucks without all the sparkles and diamonds like some other belts.

I mean just look at that belt....and old school Sting.

That would be cool.. but.. the way he landed looked pretty bad.

Classic IC is still my favorite belt, followed by winged eagle, then the big gold.

^ That's the original Crumrine version that was hand-carved. It the better one in comparison to the WWE version that came about in 03. With most belts that last a duration of time, they usually go through say 5-10 or so in their lifespan, but that original Big Gold was the exact same belt that last from 85 until the end of WCW, only thing that was changed on it, I believe, was the strap, when the original became too worn.

Some lucky guy actually has that in his possession right now. The history of that belt is amazing!

Honestly, I think it should go, and that was a nice way to do it. The WWE WHC is essentially one belt now, so they shouldn't have its bearer go through the trouble of carrying two heavy items.

I agree in regards to the championship being represented by one belt from her on out, but I will miss the Big Gold.

If they do introduce a new belt after the logo transition, I'd hope it's an amalgam of the two. Shaped like the BGB but with an intricately carved new logo that blends seamlessly into the relief. Or maybe the logo would be white gold with the underline being rubies, but the whole belt being gold, not that cutout garbage.

^ Yeah, I'm still holding hope that we'll get a new design, rather than just an updated Big Logo. For starters, if they are going to keep the championship named the 'World Heavyweight Championship', then I'd expect them to at least work that wording into the design.

Honestly, I'd love for WWE to have Heyman "revive" WCW one of these days, take over SmackDown, bring in Bischoff as GM and reintroduce the Big Gold. That'd be a great storyline. TNA isn't much competition, so WWE needs to create its own.

Man, I just hope this doesn't lead to him attempting a surprise cash-in on Sunday and then losing it, thus leading to Plan C. :csad:

Apparently.

- Word from backstage at Monday night’s RAW is that Seth Rollins is fine and is not injured. A source said Rollins was just selling the knee injury from the main event and doing a good job of it. It was noted that it was suspicious how WWE kept the cameras off Rollins when he went down.

- Since fans have asked, Dean Ambrose is fine after the beatdown angle with Kane, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton on last night’s RAW. Apparently he was busted open in the mouth but did not suffer any significant injury.

Yeah it's always been a great looking belt. I'm glad the IC Oval belt is gone.

Seth Rollins was NOT injured last night. He sold so well even the camera crew thought he was hurt and didn't film him. SUCH A ****ING PRO! :applaud

It is officially OFFICIALLY legit:

ALL NIGHTS OF THE G1 CLIMAX WILL BE ON USTREAM. :awesome:

hey, Nolan and Benstamania. looks like we're the Sting crew today!!!

I never was around when Sting was in his prime though I did watch quite of bit of Nitro so this trailer got me hyped. Sting Army: best Nitro segment EVAH. :D

I'd have to go with the Man of 1,004 Holds as the greatest segment.

These almost always seems to happen after big overseas tours too. Sometimes I wonder if certain wrestlers should get "offseasons" while they build up other wrestlers........Maybe if they did that they'd not only have more stars but would be able to let their top talents recharge their batteries.

This always gets brought up over the years , but will never happen because they want to use to the top stars to sell tickets year round on these tours. It's a shame because it would be the best move for the product and it's stars. I'm not sure how that works financially though. Some might just want to be at every ppv so they can keep earning for retirement. Kane said recently that he would step back but the money is too good to walk away from.

I'm glad Rollins is ok , that was a close call. I have a hard time believing. It was a work. I do believe he oversold it to be on the safe side. He probably thought it was potentially serious and let himself be carried to the back before realizing it was ok.

Rollins has taken several sick bumps and he always seems to fool fans into thinking he's injured. This has got to be like the 5th time he's looked injured since joining the main roster. Dude always gets us.
