I'd say that Deadpool, Cable and Domino are pretty much a lock for X-Force. And if Deadpool's in it, count for Ryan Reynolds producing and Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese taking over writing reigns (Reynolds has made it clear that he doesn't want anyone else writing the character).

remember X_foce has been morged with deadpool 3 so deadpool writers will be writing it.problem is this means X-force will be deadpool & X-force.let'ss see if those who b-tched and moaned about wolverine's role In X-men films will still
be doing that.

X-force will likely be deadpool,Cable,domino,X-23,and another character.

With what deadpool writers have said about X-Men and Deadpool being different franchises i doudt any X-Men are in X-force.If gambit is made and is out before deadpool III then maybe Gambit Is In X-force.

X-MEN and X-FORCE will probably go in their own separate directions but i don't think they actually mean different franchises.

if there is ever a cross over between X-Men and X-Force it will probably be its own event movie.

though events of Logan may make seeing their adventres pointless if logan killed all the X-Men except for Xavier who he is taking care of out of guilt

The way reynolds throws his weight around like insisting deadpool writers write every film with deadpool,and unknown if they could even write a serious film,and fox isn't going to bring back any original cast after Logan.

The only way for there to be present day film with X-men if for fox to reboot
X-men,and that may be coming anyway after Deadpool III,so very doudtful
there is ever a X-Men/X-force film.

now when Deadpool II arrives in june or november 2018 maybe cable and domino treatment will say the writers can do some serious stuff.the tone in deadpool is fine for solo deadpool films.but,not for team films.

Short of something similar to all new X_men where they pull APocalypse cast to present/future.and quite honestly if that happened with way reynolds pulls his weight around they could almost turn into parody of X-men.and i thought that was dumb idea when they did it in comics.

X-Force/Logan don't even take place that far apart probably. If we're measuring in real time, Deadpool takes place in 2016, the sequel in 2018, and XF in 2020 or whatever. Logan takes place in 2024. Since Deadpool never mentions what year it takes place in, they could easily just shift it forward so X-Force can take place in 2024/2025

Which is why I had a big problem with Logan's "Mutants, they're all gone" line in the trailer. It's short-sighted, it doesn't help the franchise as a whole and I doubt it's thoroughly thought through beyond this Logan film.

My wish is that since it's only Logan saying it in the trailer (and not Charles) he doesn't know any better and is just going by on rumours/innuendos. Or if Xavier repeats it in the film, it's an Xavier that doesn't have all of his faculties (which judging from the trailer may not be too far off).

If the purpose of the line for Mangold and his writers is so they're not forced to introduce any other mutants and have a self-contained adventure, then have the movie be set in a small town. Or, you know, don't introduce any other mutant.

Or maybe they'll surprise us and it's part of a plan for the franchise...

I wouldn't be surprised if since Jackmans leaving they are partly using this film to be a connective bridge to something else, like a passing of the torch so not only is it a final conclusion to his story but its also opening a door that he is the one to open and introduce to audiences which allows him to remain in memory a big part of the franchise in further films.

Its like if it turns out the future setting has some connection to X-Force then while we won't see jackman actually meet X-Force, we can still see him in that world for his last movie.

That does look to be the case though. There's Caliban, Laura, Logan and Chuck, that's about it. It's set in the middle of nowhere like the issue of Uncanny where Logan is captured by the Reavers.

Depends if they have a story, but man I hate All New X-Men.

it certinly sounded like in the trade that deadpool III was now merged with X-force.

Since half of X-Force is already in Deadpool 2, and that Cable deal is said to include Deadpool 2 and 3 as well as 3 X-Force films that is not surprising. Other sites don't know details, or what to call it since they both feature Deadpool and there are no concrete dates/titles or anything announced. All they know is that they heard X-Force will be in it from THR.

We do know the new Deadpool 2 director was in talks for X-Force prior, and we know Kinberg was working on X-Force. Kinberg will not be writing Deadpool 3. I'm pretty sure that's a given, and will be Rhett and Paul.

Not a problem for me.
And by the way, Tim Miller talked about how X-Force would obviously have to be a more serious movie, even with Deadpool. Who knows if that's the still the case for the people involved.

Deadpool is from Wade's pov, X-Force is not. This shouldn't be complicated to understand.

My thinking is that "Deadpool 3" - or "Deadpool and X-Force" - will be a solo feature in the same way that CA:CW was a solo outing for Captain America. If successful the team will be spun off into its own series sans Wade.

Well that's what a lot of people want.you hear a lot of people say their top concern is x related films is for them to Interact with deadpool.

I think it should be painfully obvious that Fox wants a Deadpool 3, but there is nothing confirming or even mentioning any of these back to back rumors. Does someone seriously have a source for this? Or that there is not an X-Force film anymore?

I'm still lost on why Deadpool 3 happening or X-Force appearing in Deadpool should be some huge scoop. Copycat, Domino and Cable are already in DP2. That's pretty much early X-Force. Nobody knows the rest of the cast, anything else or even a date on this flick.

Heck, people barely know what's going on with Logan and it's 3 months away.

Thats pretty much the way it could go anyway since unless they plan on branching X-Force out without Deadpool its pretty much always going to be waiting for Deadpool to finish his solos before he comes back to X-Force for another adventure.

I would liken Deadpool & X-Force (Working Title!) to CA:CW, which was essentially an Avengers film from Cap's perspective. I could see the third Deadpool film following this path.

And just like with CA:CW, it doesn't mean you couldn't have a "true" 3rd solo installment following the mash up or a future X-Force film without Wade. In this scenario FOX is leveraging its star attraction to activate two somewhat distinct franchises.

I just really don't think they are gonna do that.

If they do I'll be shocked. They want a trilogy of both these films going on at the same time from everything I have heard, with different writers (Kinberg) and Directors.

They could use all 3 deadpool movies to lead to an X-Force Movie, since i dunno how they would balance it out as deadpool is gonna be in his own movies and also X-Force movies, thats alot to use ryan for.
