I'm enjoying this crossover much more than I thought I would. Good thing too, cuz I need my Bishop/Colossus fix. Nemesis is a treat as well, such a smartass.

I like when crossovers are kept short and concise. Vendetta was a lot of fun. I'm gonna need to see a long conversation between Cable and Bishop though. That awkward handshake wasn't nearly enough.

In his classic no less. Thank God for that. :woot:

So the new book has gotten less than stellar reviews. Anybody read this yet?

Wait, that's MARROW?!?!?!?!?!??!? Oh god. My favorite character. This book just looks so bad though. And by that I mean it looks bad and it LOOKS bad. That art is just god awful.

Didn't care too much with how the guy wrote Fantomex. I don't think I've ever seen him written to throw that much french words into his dialogue before. We get it, he's french, don't need to have that confirmed for us every time he speaks. He did that a lot with characters who were foreign or had accents in Legacy too.

Isn't his French accent fake? Maybe the writer was doing that to emphasize him trying too hard. But I agree it was annoying. And what is up Marrow "baby"? It was so annoying. She's one of my favorite characters from the 90s and I don't think this guy the right voice for her. I'll give the series another issue or two but I was not blown away by this first issue. And they need to get a new artist on that asap.

What happened to Hope that she's in a coma?

I saw a few pages of this on Tumblr and I think for the first time in three years I won't be reading X-force. Art and story do nothing for me. There is a new artist coming on for #5, but that solicitation is already promising to kill a member off, so I'm good without this book.

Didn't care for him using all the french either. I don't think I've ever heard Fantomex use any french other maybe "oui", but I can't think of a time I saw that either. I wouldn't know he had a faux french accent except other characters have mentioned it in the past.

Never read anything with Marrow before, but the "baby"s were annoying me.

Wasn't a fan of the art, but I didn't hate it either. The premise of the book sounded interesting though, maybe I'll start picking it up in trade, but not monthly.
