I wonder if that's an indication that Babs is on her way to reclaiming the mantle. Disregarding how utterly ****ty they treated Cassandra Cain, whom I'd be perfectly happy to see leave Batgirl behind her and disappear entirely before anyone else can **** her up, there have always been people who'd like to see Babs take over as Batgirl again, and we all know how much DC lurvs the Silver Age lately... It seems like all these Babs-as-Batgirl things might be DC's way of testing the waters for her return. It'd be a ****ing huge step backwards for the character, in my opinion; but nothing DC does these days seems to want to follow my opinions.

Look, let's not even pretend any of us wanted another All Star book. It's enough to deal with those Marvel Zombies who keep telling everyone they REALLY LIKE the Ultimate line.

They know what they're doing. They just don't want to do what we know would be better than what they're doing.
