BvS Things You Hope They'll Change From Man of Steel

What elements of Man of Steel, good or bad, do you hope Snyder and co. will try to get rid of or change in BvS? In terms of cinematography, designs, story elements, character development, etc.

I hope they get rid of all of the haters and trolls of this film and future films, or at least the negative buzz.

More dialogue from Clark and fewer drawn out action sequences.

Less shaky cam, only acceptable during the intense fight scenes

More focus on Superman's actions and existence politically, and his impact on the world, and in particular, Metropolis. Which it looks like we're going to see. So...yay!

Oh and one crucial aspect that was missing from MOS that nearly every single superhero movie has: Heroism, actually have superman BE superman in this movie, he's not a newbie anymore in BvS

I know a lot of people have said this, but seriously, give Cavill more lines.

I think he spent too much time listening to exposition and not enough time conversing with other characters. Give him more time to interact with the characters, to show more of himself through his words than just his facial expressions. Cavill can only do so much without lines.

I just hope that they use less filters. MoS was too blue. More Superman fights!
Just as long as they don't use the following "pose"; I thought was awkward for him to challenge Zod like that.

Change the screenwriter. And that's already done.

Also let the dramatic beats breeaaaatttthhhhh. Don't go from neck snapping to grief to cracking ha-has with the army general.

Get rid/change people who ***** and moan about the destruction and "messy" plot

So you want a more perceptive audience with fewer blinding preconceptions. Unfortunately the film makers have no control over that. hopefully the film doesn't suffer too much compensating for them.:halo:

Yes, if you have complaints about a movie you are one teh haters and trolls :o
Negative buzz usually only accompanies mediocre/disappointing movies. Only the film makers can get rid of that by making a great, satisfying film.. which would require a good deal of changes from Man of Steel.

That's one of my favorite shots in the movie, there is nothing awkward about it. It was cool, not to mention, the area rumbling as Superman lifted his body from the ground, it showed how powerful he was. But I agree with you about not flitering the colors so dark.

Throw one of these in there

:supes:

This will happen eventually. I'm actually glad he didn't do it in Man of Steel. Like the glasses, I think it will come in due time. To this day I think Man of Steel highly unde-rated just as The Avengers was highly overrated.
And I enjoyed The Avengers to be honest. And most of the Marvel films, except the Thor movies. Man of Steel was not the cinematic masterpiece of the 21st centery, but it wasn't the worst movie of 2013 or the last 10 years. To put it bluntly when I see Cavill on the screen I see Superman just like when I see Reeves. Not so much with Routh though. And I wish both the best in their careers. Man of Steel is certainly one the most polarizing movie (and superhero movie) to be realeased in the last few years.

- Less documentary style zoom-ins. I didn't mind them, but thought they were overdone.

Yes, I agree a 100%. No more pulling a Marvel!!!!!!! Though some Marvel fan told me thatafter a Mass Casualty Event or disaster like in Avengers or Man of Steel it would be totally appropriate for me as an ER nurse to joke and laugh and go out to eat as a team and have fun. No, Seriously.:whatever:

-A happier, more cheerful, wittier, and more inspiring Superman
-a more joyful tone but with a lot of depth, substance, and nuances
-Clark reporter scenes
- Better relationship development for Clark and Lois
- better handling of the dramatic and emotional scenes
