But why would Gwen give Peter the ring? Peter looks distressed to me; maybe a mistake he made by asking her instead of MJ while under the influence of the symbiote? She's giving it back possibly.

Remember guys. It's a trailer. They don't have to put scenes with the same scenes. They always put different scenes together to make it seem like it's one scene. Gwen could be telling Peter that she hates him or something. You never know

I think it's possible that Peter shows the ring to Gwen. Aunt May does indeed give it to him, but the editor manipulates to footage enough from a different scene (probably because someone liked these shots better for the trailer).

OK, so over in the "Spider-Man 3 TV spots" thread we were discussing the picture below from the new TV spot that just came online today, and some believe it to be Gwen Stacy, others think it is Aunt May.

If you look at the girl's hair, your first impression is going to obviously be that it's Gwen, because not only is that hair blonde (atleast it looks that way) but it's also not put up like Aunt May's. Secondly, look in this TV spot, at about 00:05 seconds, and you'll see that the person handing the ring to Peter Parker is not Aunt May, because look at what she is wearing...when Aunt May says "Give her this..." she is wearing red, and the person at 00:05 seconds handing Peter the ring is wearing a greyish-blue colored shirt...and when Peter looks up at her teary eyed, you see the let down blonde hair...it HAS to be Gwen. Now, I don't know why Gwen would be giving Peter back that ring while he's all teary eyed (Dark Parker probably proposed to her) but you can obviously see that it HAS to be Gwen.


I just wanted to put an end to this argument.

Good argument, but it's not valid: That's Aunt May's place as you can tell from the background when you see Aunt May, and when you see Peter, and it's Aunt May giving the ring to Peter because it's a view of HER FACE when she gives it to him. Go back and watch it again, I haven't watched it in 24 hours and I know that.
