I don't know. .

When people saw "From the Director of Batman Begins. . " We had people that still refused to watch BB, because of the nipples in his or her mouth.

Now he has clout. WB will be throwing money at him, like they have been to Clint Eastwood for the past 25 years.

The public will recognize, I think.

Isn't that what I just said, but in fewer words?

:rimshot:

I wish they would mention he did Memento, I mean, that is an amazing movie. I know they always say "director of biggest blockbuster from this guy" but still...

I agree, and with that. . meh.

Mainly because the WB could easily say from the Director that brought you XYZ, leading up to and "The Dark Knight."

Dunno. Saving money I guess.

oh, i totally get why they do it, but its sightly cringe worthy when they say a popular, but not as good movie as an inciter

Bottom line, he's a badass director and will be for quite some time. I'm really looking forward to his career.

Seriously, who are we missing and why haven't we tracked them down. This place has been brought back from the dead. It's time for GLORY!!!!!

Let the Right One In is such a sad movie.

It could be the movie that takes Chris Nolan all the way to the top.

I still think that he is severely under-appreciated as a director. Yet he hasn't done a bad film.
I dunno, I don't think a director's name is a draw anymore, aside from Spielberg and maaaaaaybe Scorsese. Hell, I doubt anyone off the street could tell me who James Cameron was, and he's directed the two biggest movies ever. :funny:

I don't know if Kubrick and Hitchcock were big names back in their day. I wasn't alive then. :o Maybe it's one of those things where people get famous the more time passes and the more perspective we have.

Yeah, the people who need the marketing from TV spots will probably not have heard of Memento. :oldrazz:

I loved it. But I agree, it was sad.

I was like :wow::wow::wow::wow: on the pool scene.

i found that part to be sad too, i mean, the kids were bullies, but even they didnt want to really hurt him, just mess with him.
