Did she swear you in?

If that's a reference to the movie, sorry, I don't really understand what you mean. lol. It's hard for me to remember quotes when the movie's in Swedish.

i found that part to be sad too, i mean, the kids were bullies, but even they didnt want to really hurt him, just mess with him.

Not me. She left the kid that stayed back from them, so that's all the justice that scene needed. Rest of em deserved it. The older brother was gonna stab/drown the kid to death.

I really hope the pool scene is in the remake. Chloe Moretz is gonna rock :woot:

I see some people got my PM about the new Tusi!

The image map stuff was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I can even do it with Microsoft Paint. :funny: Now I got my image maps to have rollover effects. :word: Although I have yet to figure out how to get two image maps on the same page to have separate rollovers without messing each other up. :o

How about putting each image map into a separate html frame? The ones that begin with the "frameset" tag. I remember 10 years back that was the popular/usual way to make a header, footer, side menu and main text area on a website. They were... robust. :woot: Now layouts are made with elegant css.

You could also put the Gotham maps into iframes that pop up when you click on a link/image (like a thumbnail of a map or something, and then the image/map would blow up when clicked on). Voila, several image maps on one page.

I like comics, but I find it too much trouble to actually keep up with the current storylines. :funny: I'm just the movie fangirl for the most part, which is pretty rare as well.

One of my fave things about comics are characters that will never get the movie treatment, no matter how popular they are and how many awards their writers/artists have won. There are two heroes (my current faves in the Bat world, not counting the villains) that would have gone under my radar completely hadn't I been into comic books. :yay: NOW I FANGIRL THEM LIKE BURNING.

I remember you guys.

AND I REMEMBER YOU!

TV's Frank, I LOVE your signature!!!! :yay: That's probably my favorite part of Caddyshack.

He's joking that this is a inclusive club, just ignore him if you want.

And I have no urge to see the american remake, it is going to be made to "appeal to a wider audience" which automatically means I'm avoiding it, also they're taking the whole thing out about Eli being a castrated boy. I just don't think the movie will be as good, there is barely any dialogue in the Swedish film, its specifically minimalist, but in the American version you can bet they're gonna make everything painfully obvious, possibly twice.

The two-image-map thing is on my site index, not the maps page. :funny: I dunno exactly how I'm gonna do the map page. I have a 30MB pdf of the entire map and I want it to be able to zoom and pan around. I think I could do the zoom-and-pan in Flash, but I don't know if I'll be able to link to zoomed-in (and pannable) areas of the map with text links outside of it unless I learn Javascript. I guess if I gave up, I could steal my bf's laptop and use his Flash, but in typical programmer fashion, I want to see if there's a script-y way to do it.

Yeah I have very heavy code in all of the investigation pages, because I found a very neat Windows Exploreresque jquery nav bar that will open and "select" the page you're on by "location." Like, the script can tell when you're on a page that's referenced in the nav bar and do that open-folder-and-select automatically for you. It's very convenient, but my nav bar is almost 350 lines long because I have EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED listed in it. I tried iframes and the jquery feature didn't work, and I think it's a fairly important feature because with 350 selections, you have to be able to know where you are. So it'll just be heavy code in all the pages. :oldrazz:

It's no biggie, the code isn't what's making the site big (I'm planning on putting it onto a disc anyway), it's all of the images I still have to optimize and resize. :oldrazz: And the video clips. :oldrazz:

I did cave and use iframes for my Joker card gallery, though. :hehe:

Lol okay. I get it now.

You know, I'm still skeptical about it, but I'm still gonna see it. If anything, it'll make me appreciate the original even more.

That's a nice way to look at it. I'm more of the "don't waste your money when you already have a perfectly good movie with the same story at home" kinda gal.

Bwhahaha! PS Phrank's now regretting becoming a one computer household.

Nobody even has a smartphone? :funny:

Haha, I don't think an iPhone screen compares to a MacBook. And we still have my iMac, but it's like 20 feet away and you can't see the TV from it and hockey's in playoffs and the Phillies are playing and GO BLACKHAWKS!

What? I blacked out.

I'm with Phrank at this point. Is this surreal? What the phuck. Really?

WE'RE BACK!!!

Someone dance.

Now.

Naked.

.gif or it didn't happen.

Oh, I thought you meant for constantly refreshing the Tusi thread. :funny:

My iPod Touch works for internet in a jiffy if I'm too lazy to get off the couch in front of the TV. :funny:

Well played, or well technology.

Can't decide.

For real? You guys sell the magic Kelly Ripa appliances that put laundry away!

When a Servicer's comes out to your home and fixes your product.

I'm the guy that question X = your products price, Y = the cost of repair, Z = exchange value.

It pays the bills.
