What does "Harrison" signify? Just curious. I remember that guy. I responded to many of his stupid posts. It's sad, really. I mean, there are those who are fans of the movies and just the movies. I break people up into three categories. The ones who are the general audience who see the Batman flicks, those who are fans ONLY of the Batman movies, and those who are die hard, comic book reading Batman fans and know all of the mythos and background on the character. I think Batwing6655, or whatever his name was, was only a fan of the movies. I don't see how he can call himself a Batman fan.. I think it's sad that people don't like the first half of Batman Begins, because that is what the story is truely about. Bruce tries to find himself; he wants to fight injustice, and he must find the means to do so. It is Bruce's quest to fight injustice that is so interesting about Begins. But once Batman is there, he is THERE. Great film!

if you can sit through the adam west show and superfriends cartoons like I did as a kid, this movie doesnt seem so bad. in light of the rest of course it's a travesty, but on it's own taken for a lighthearted comic batman adventure for kids, it's actually ok...

Batman Begins is overrated. i watched it on HBO the other night.

...scenes when Bale is in the car with Holmes the acting is awful. Bale sounds more dissapointed then angry about his parents death, and holmes is to angry about him bashing how sh_tty the sytem is. its eye rolling how bad there emotions dont match in the scene.

Theres to much that bother me about it. the lines are just garbage.

Gordon telling a little kid,Bruce "its okay its okay". his parents are dead its not okay.

Bruce's dad "its fine, its fine".

The fact that bruce wayne rather instigate a fight by letting the criminal, murderer go and then attack rah's kill a group of ninja's burn the place down was superfluous.

I really don't like the scene with bruce and rachel in the car going to Falcones. Bale just has that dumbfounded look on his face which I find annoying. Just my opinion.

Katie holmes. It's true. She was good and you know it. Get the heck off the hate-wagon. She was surprisingly good in the role and damm I want her to return you bastards. So stop giving nolan the impression that all fans hate her.

I wasn't blown away by Begins either. It was after the third watch that I started to get the edition and such things.

But one thing that can't be denied is that it is a good movie in spite of the flaws.

He is a bad actress.
Now, if you oput her with Bale, Caine, Freeman, Oldman, Neeson and such, the result is much worse than that by comparision.

Actually I thought Katie did quite well, holding her own with such a stellar cast. Granted she is definitely nowhere near the calibre of her co-stars, but I think the criticisms of her are quite unfair, perhaps a backlash of all the annoying Tom-Kat nonsense.
