Days of Future Past This movie is ruined for me, please explain.

Ok, I watched the trailer and loved it. Then I was like WHAT THE?!?!? EMMA FROST AND HAVOK ARE IN IT?

How does this work? Will there be time jumps in the movie or is it just a plot hole which are everywhere in Fox movies. Can someone please explain this, because it has actually kind of ruined the movie for me.
