Could you imagine, if @HammerDown 's theory is correct - if Thor and Hela unite to lead the army of the dead from Hel, how cool that would be?

Who here wanna bet that Captain Marvel wields Stormbreaker at some point in A4.

- For one the precedent has been set by someone already picking up Thor’s weapon previously. Vision wielding Mjolnir in AOU.
- Stormbreaker doesn’t have a worthiness enchantment.
- Thor said this about Stormbreaker: "You simply lack the strength to wield them. Your bodies will crumble as your minds collapse to the madness.” So whoever wields it need to be a being of immense power. This would establish Captain Marvel’s power.
- Stormbreaker’s goal has yet to be accomplished. The whole arc Thor went through in IW looses strength and importance if the axe doesn’t indeed bring and end to Thanos.

I predict that at some point later on A4, Captain Marvel will use Stormbreaker to deliver the finishing blow on Thanos.

To be honest, if Thor's new hammer will indeed be used as the instrument that brings the final blow to Thanos's life, then I would much prefer for it to be by Thor than anyone else using that weapon.

Allow Thor to make up for his mistake. I don't want the same thing that happened to Luke Skywalker to happen to Thor where he never ends up correcting his biggest mistake and has to allow someone else to clean up his mess for him.

Yeah, if Mjolnir somehow makes it back the only non-Thor person to lift it has gotta be Cap. Buuuut hell, Carol's always been more in that genuinely-heroic Steve mould than most of the others anyway (just more snarky & modern-day cynical, but basically overall an awesome person), if she lifted it on-screen it wouldn't bug me. She has more grounds to do it than Vision I guess, but even the Vision thing made sense.

I would love to see some of that in this film. Also when it comes to finishing Thanos, I hope we get Thor, Hulk and Cap Marvel taking him on up close when he's been weakened. They could come up with serious combined strength feats too.

That would be cool, especially if Thor gets Mjolnir back. Weren't their designs for other weapons that CM might get?

Supposedly there where some leaks of images that looked like her axe, but it also looked exactly the same as Cull Obsidian weapon from the comics.

As you said earlier it would be strange to dedicate a large part of IW to attaining Stormbreaker if it doesn't come to some significant use beyond what we saw in that film.

Exactly. Stormbreaker has to play a factor in A4.
That thing is so incredibly powerful that it can't be overshadowed in battle. At this moment and with the Gauntlet seemingly damaged, Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon in the MCU if i am not mistaken.

Of course there isn’t. I still hope BRB shows up in the future of the MCU. And I think it’s quite possible we do indeed meet him at some point and BRB doesn’t need to be a copy of Thor... He can be his own thing and that’s what i’m on board with but of course his story is tied up with Thor.

My favorite character is Thor. I don’t mind if they make Captain Marvel more powerful. I just don’t want them to make her more powerful at Thor’s expense. There’s ways of doing this that don’t piss of the fans. You just gotta find the right balance otherwise it backfires.

In the end of the day Old King Thor is in a league of his own and when Marvel introduces Galactus then OKT need to show up because of their long history together. And then in a massive final showdown the power of OKT would finally be settled. That last stand would give us Thor fans what we always want, his recognition as the true powerhouse he is...
