Oh dear, so what'd everyone think of Thor in this movie?

Hard to imagine anyone being excited for another Thor movie after Endgame. I know I'm not.

I loved Thor in this and so did everyone else in the theater. Ragnarok did wonders for him.

He was utterly destroyed by his failure in Infinity War and went all drunk Lebowski. It was fitting that he needed a talk from his mother to set him straight. Him joining up with the Asgardians Of The Galaxy really makes me excited for the future films.

This is the one spoiler I've seen, and I'm trying not to let it bother me, but that's a bit disappointing

Yeah, I kept expecting him to take some sort of anti-fat serum or elixer or something, but nah, he's fat even in the epic final battle. Which was weird, but not as weird as it sounds, since he at least changes his wardrobe and hairstyle, so he feels like a fat viking rather than a fat couch potato.

I am still very excited about another Thor movie. Directed by Taika and in space.

AEG doesn't negate what happened in Ragnarok and Infinity War. And AEG had enough to keep that flame going into other appearances of the God of Thunder. Also in my theater experience he was definitely one of the standouts. Maybe not for the exact same reasons as IW but for some other nonetheless.
