I have no idea how else to explain where Surtur and Hela go other than to say that Surtur drives her into the ground of Asgard which ultimately leads to it being destroyed. They both go through the ground together. There's nothing else really to explain. They're both "gone".

I will be honest...some of you are asking for some fairly specific details and I can't recall everything. I usually need a couple viewings of these films to pick up everything....

I mean I guess I should be happy that Marvel is upping the stakes and making the villains power set be at a point where the Heroes are almost without hope that they have to become resourceful. I suppose I will just have to make due with Thor and Hulk trouncing everything else. Lol

Thor doesn't have the Odin force, Thor's powers are all his. It actually lines up with previous films as he displayed a bit of this hidden power in AOU while he was in that cavel pool.

There has been mention of him trying to learn his new powers, wouldn't that be the Odin Force? Maybe, I am confused. That seems to happen a lot around here. Lol!

I was looking to find where I read it but too many pages to go through, so maybe Jadejaws can answer it for us. How does Odin die? and does the Odin Force get transferred to Thor? I know I read somewhere that he is still able to communicate with Thor and Loki, making me think he is not totally dead.

So what's the explanation for why Hela got banished. Did Thor and Loki know about her or was her existance kept a secret from them? Did Frigga know about her (or did the movie mention Frigga at all)?

Yeah, I would love to see Silver Surfer battle Thor in the MCU. It's heartbreaking to me that Fox owns the rights. I mean even if Fox does a great recreation of the Fantastic Four and all their characters, it will always just be 50% of what it could have been if it was in the MCU. I mean I feel that way about all of Marvel's properties even the X-Men, but especially the Fantastic Four. They would just fit perfectly with all this space epicness that Marvel is getting into, it just needs to happen. I guess a man can dream.

Yeah, Marvel now has the live action rights to all their characters except X-Men and related characters, and Fantastic Four and related characters.

I should qualify my previous comment by saying Spider-Man they do not own the live action rights to, but they might as well through the new agreement they have reached with Sony, and the Incredible Hulk they just do not own distribution rights, which is why they avoid using him in a Solo movie. Everything else should be with Marvel.

Well that is the general consensus amongst most of the fans, but even if the X-Men existed as more of a stand alone film similar to Guardians of the Galaxy, wouldn't you want to know that there is the possibility for a Wolverine versus Hulk battle. Under the current conditions something like that is not possible. It is not the end of the world or anything, but still with Fox in control of these properties everything is limited.

At least that is how I see it.

I think the problem is the Studio is already putting out 3 titles a year and they do not want to shelve these characters for 10 years, while they run trilogies on all of their currently existing titles. So they do what they can to service the fans using television until the time is right when maybe they can join them into the Movie universe.

At least that is how I see it.
