Does it bother anyone that they could have literally replaced Hela with Enchantress and the plot would for the most part be the same. Female antaonist invades and tries to take over Asgard.

I could go see Ragnarok in Dolby on Friday because I have an appointment literally three blocks from the theater that afternoon. But my little brother/running buddy can't go until Saturday, so as a loyal sister I'm going to wait.

Thanks I'll try to share my thoughts when I get back. My showing isn't until 9:45PM so I won't be getting back until around 1 in the morning. Hopefully I won't be too wiped out.

Sometimes we get so caught up with the excitement and energy of a new movie, that we forget about real world issues going on around us. I was just, very suddenly, reminded of that. A good buddy of mine, whom I served with briefly in Afghanistan, was killed in action last night. He was definitely more than “a friend from work.” He was like a brother. He’s being flown home this weekend, with a service on Monday. I had previously bought Ragnarok tickets for Sunday, but will be giving them to my neighbor. The least I can do is fly to NY to pay my respects. Gonna try to see the movie next Wednesday. I’ll report back then.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of you friend. If you have the opportunity; please thank his family for his service.

Following the last few weeks i fully expect this last Thorsday before release to be one where Marvel put's out some interesting and cool stuff marketing wise. They have been releasing all types of movie clips, TV Spots, images/interviews... every thursday for some time now. Now it's really the final push to have people in the theatre so i hope they do something pretty cool today.

Thanks Iceman, I am looking forward to it. Part of me is thinking of waiting until tomorrow morning to go see it when it is cheaper and maybe a smaller crowd. Generally that means I will get a better seat. I would have purchased in advance, but I am in the middle of a Kitchen remodel and from day to day it is hard to know my schedule in advance. Might have to tell the workers to not show up until after noon time tomorrow. Lol
