My viewing this evening got cancelled so now I don't have one scheduled until Thursday.

Why did it get cancelled? That's a shame. I've never heard of a cinema showing getting cancelled.

Poor wording on my part as I meant our plans to go see it.

Oh gotya. That's life I guess. Good luck for Thursday!

Yes, looking forward to everyone else seeing it soon. This place should be a lot of fun after that.

So there were definitely little background bits that I missed the first time round. But why oh why do people immediately leave when the credits start???? This is not our first rodeo, surely they know it isnt completely over until all the lights go back on and the ushers appear with black rubbish bags?

So many people left early today.....

That’s not spoilery to write, is it?

I know I knowwww it's a part of marketing, but calling Thor: Raganrok the best reviewed Marvel film of all time is a bit premature.

At the moment it is. With over 100 reviews. They are smart in using it to their advantage. Why not? The movie is very well received.

Because they need a pee and the end of credits are a bit of fluff that doesn't really add anything. Also they can watch them on youtube within a few days.

It's their own fault for drinking 40 oz of soda.

Oftentimes at least ONE of the credit scenes has important plot details.

Also they can watch them on youtube within a few days.
As if waiting DAYS to watch a low res version is somehow better than waiting FIVE MINUTES to watch it on the big screen?

Well, so far it is. So they are not lying. It currently has the most positive reviews on the MCU. Iron Man has been that one for the last nine years. We'll see how it goes when it's all said and done.

Seen the movie 5 times already. One of my favourite movies of all time.

And I still need to see it once. Guess my plan is to see it after work Friday then possibly Monday at the start of my vacation before my trip. So twice in a few days.

It's up to them. Or maybe they've seen the film or maybe don't know about the credit scenes. Who knows? Not sure why it bothers you.

I apologize if I sounded hostile, I was quite stressed when I wrote that.
I just don't want anyone to miss part of the movie
[blackout] also because it's awkward to be the only person sitting in the theater [/blackout]

I didn't think that you said anything wrong. I personally can't understand when people get up and leave either. However, at the end of the day it's their money and in my opinion their loss, so I don't stress about it unless they are standing up in front of me trying to leave while the After credit scene is playing and I am trying to watch. Then, I would probably ask them to sit until the scene is over, but by that time you probably missed some of it. However, for me instead of getting upset I would probably just remind myself that's what repeat viewings are for, to pick up things you missed the first time.

Anyways that's how I see it.

Forget awkward- it is your right to be there! I stay for credits in movies that aren't MCU- the people who make movies deserve to have their names looked at, and with as much as movies cost, I am staying for every second of possible entertainment.

Saw it for a 2nd time yesterday.

This film is very re-watchable :) Had as equal fun as on my first viewing.

Don't worry you didn't sound hostile. I waited for the end credits some people didn't, it's up to them.

The first MCU movies I saw we were generally 5-10 people who stayed for the end credits, at SM: homecoming 90% of my viewing stayed. The numbers have gone up with every MCU movie here, safe to say that "everybody" knows about them now.
Pretty cool :)

Agreed. It's premature to say that. I mean you could say after 5 reviews and 100% that you are the best reviewed too lol

Seeing this Thursday, or Friday if something comes up, and it's killing me.
Not only did I not see it yet, but also can't read much online because of spoilers. People are literally doing it on purpose.

Yeah, it’s been much worse than normal on that front for some reason.
