This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]510891[/split]
I can't see Marvel Studios fusing Hela with both Amora and Death. That'd be one big random mishmash of characters.
And then by the end of the movie it's revelead that Hela was actually Loki in disguise all along. What a twist! Fans will love it.Maybe they'll fuse Hela with Lady Thor, Amora, Sif and Death then.![]()
I'm anxious to see what Cate Blanchett brings to her role in the movie. Whatever she does in this movie will most likely be awesome. Blanchett brings a huge amount of grace, gravitas, and vibrancy to her acting, and I'm sure that'll serve her well playing Hela.
It's also going to be interesting because all reports I've read indicate that Blanchett's version of Hela is going to be a mixture of three Marvel characters: Hela, Amora the Enchantress, and Death (the object of Thanos' love). It will be very cool to see how they portray the traits of these three characters in Blanchett's role.
^ Maybe you're right, but honestly I'm still not sure if I'd like that. All three of them are pretty cool and would work very well on their own; I can understand losing one for the sake of the story, but two? Seems like a waste.
Then again if Tony can be the creator of Ultron and Zemo the cause of the Civil War and the reason why T'Challa took up the mantle of BP, I guess Hela can be herself, Amora and Death all at the same time. lol

Yeah, Cate's the best. I'm so excited to see what she does with the role of Hela. My worst nightmare is if they give her no discernible personality like Malekith, I don't want her to be ultra-serious all the time. Give her a bit of a wicked and sadistic sense of humour. I feel like Hela has to be grandiose and more than a little OTT (without veering into laughably hammy), which Cate would just run with.
I'm with metaphysician, I don't think Hela will actually be a composite character with Amora. She's just stealing her henchman for the MCU, and will maybe have some light hero/villainess flirtation with Thor, but other than that I think the similarites will end there and Hela will still be Hela. That leaves the way open for them to introduce Amora as a separate character later on, if they so wish. I still think there's a good chance that Hela will take Death's place in the MCU though.
Talking of Cate Blanchett, she has officially arrived in the Gold Coast. C'mon Ruffalo, post a picture with her. I'm relying on you.
not to mention if they go by the comics and Myth, Loki's her daddyThe problem is the comics will always have an infinite more options of characters and stories than the movies will have.. you can't cram a 75 year history of marvel comics into film unfortunately. The problem with Enchantress, Hela and Death is that Enchantress and Hela already have alot in common... both asgardian, both sort of seductresses, both wear green, both practice magic... (the major difference is Hela rules a realm.. and Enchantress spends most of her time on earth... Hela can bring the 9 realms to their knees.. while Amora really can't...
Hela also in concept is alot like Death... especially when compared to what we know about the Marvel Cinematic Universe... the 9 Realms are almost essentially planets and if Hela has power over them all including earth... with the afterlife... then suddenly she's starting to sound alot like Thanos's DEATH.
so it all kinda makes sense...
it's also a safe bet Hela is going to be Loki's birth Mother rather than comic accurate Daughter... this really gives Loki a plot for the film, explains who his biological mother is (and why he isn't as tall as a frost giant and can appear human) as well as why he was able to learn magic from Frigga.
I can. If they go by the powers both have, it COULD be a way that Loki could USE Hela to try to sidetrack Thanos from killing him. Hence the love Thanos has for Death as well.I can't see Marvel Studios fusing Hela with both Amora and Death. That'd be one big random mishmash of characters.
