The Absence of Surfer in the MCU I wouldn't be surprised as being replaced with Beta Ray Bill like they did in the Animated movies.
NAMOR, from my understanding, is like Hulk. He is with Universal so he COULD appear just about anywhere

Namor and SS, yes. Hercules has never been a classic Defender.

didn't say anything about classic. just notable. He fits in very nicely as a main stay as well... even if he's never been on the team long.

Actually, he`s been a defender for only one day. There are many more characters who'd deserve the spot.

Herc was with the Champions which Marvel just got the name back for by the way. BUT the new Champions is the newer/younger superheroes and I THINK Herc will be part of a new Avengers team

I love Herc, but Nighthawk has a much stronger association with the old timey Defenders.

And while we could see the Champions, Defenders or New Avengers on the big screen, any All-Star MCU lineup will be called The Avengers.

Well, you keep changing your tune. You talked about Hercules as if he's a notable Defender, someone who has a history with the team. I've shown that's not the case, he has almost zero association with the team.

Now you simply say hercules should be a defender (above many characters who are truly defenders) because he has some history with some of the classic characters.

You could simply say you like him more than other characters and it would have the same effect.

he wasn't just a defender once.. you're also forgetting about him being a defender during World War Hulk along with Scorpion (female) and Angel joining Hulk and Valkyrie.

and lets get real for a minute.. the Defenders name is already taken. if they ever did an Avengers spin-off team and it wasn't titled "the New Avengers" it'd likely be called "the Champions" and probably merge both the defenders and champions together... (roster wise)

Yes, just once. In WWH, his team was called Renegades (and Valkyrie wasn't there; Namorita was), which have nothing to do with Defenders.

anywho.. i care not about your opinion.. that seems obvious, not sure why you're pushing for validation.. I do not care if you think more are deserving (which is why i've not mentioned it) I think herc is ultimately a better fit... plain and simple. you don't really have to agree with it.

I'd love if they had a gag about the Defenders but I suspect Strange won't appear beyond a cameo, so I'm not expecting to him to share screentime with Hulk or Valkyrie.

Infinity War would be a perfect place to do it.

im not even disputing facts I DID read the comics at the time and didn't remember the name renegades.. but i did rember the team.... all i said was "he has a history with the team" and has a rich history with many of the characters on said team... you're making an argument out of nothing just to pat yourself on the back
