Those whose seen it - How likely do you think we will see Wolverine 2?

Sam Jackson is in every movie ever made anyways...

I think Iron Man alone shows he knows what he's doing. :o

I like Favreau alot, but I don't like PG Favreau aka Marvel movie Favreau.

I liked Iron Man because there's a real Favreau movie in there - loved watching the curse-word-friendly rehearsals between Favreau, Downey and Bridges on the DVD.

If he really wasn't feeling the Mandarin, he wouldn't be using him.

Its Theroux's script though, I think Favreau woulda been happy with the Russian alone.

And Sam is perfect for Ultimate Fury. He was designed after him!

Common....you for real?

so we should get Tom O'Brien to play The Punisher then - since he was the model used for every Punisher comic since Welcome Back Frank :whatever:

Jackson's Fury is just

everyone hates Barakapool, I hate Snakes on a Plane Fury.

*I won't be shocked if Will Smith does end up playing Captain America.

I know it's been a long time, but Sam used to be a really good actor at one point.

I would actually have Gambit work as a villain/ally/anti-hero in X-Men: First Class.
So.....

The events of X-Men Origins: Wolverine take place about 15 years before X-Men (2000). Gambit is in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as a 22-23 year old man (at youngest). The end of Origins we see something that can be a way for him to at least know about, let's say...training gifted mutants.

Also, knowing that Scott Summers is about 15 years old in Origins, X-Men: First Class would have to take place around...2-3 years after X-Men Origins: Wolverine. If this is the case, things would work out.

We introduce Storm who would be about 19-20, Beast (about 28, the oldest member), and Jean (16-17, Scott's age).

Gambit, played by Taylor Kitsch, could work as an anti-hero/ally in the film. He could have ambiguous allegiances, etc--- I'd like to see that.

Also- if they do a X-Men: First Class film, they would need to have Patrick Stewart. I can't even THINK of anyone else in the role. They'd have to do what they did in X3: The Last Stand's opening and "de-age" him...I wonder if it could be done for a whole film?

But, yeah- if they time it all right and get the continuity straight, they can have Gambit in the film.

Storm would have to be way younger then Scott and Jean if they end up putting in that Storm cameo.

I didn't do the math on the cameo....but I think it took place 6-7 years before the end of the film.

If the Storm in the cameo was to be in the movie, and was about 5-6 years old, then I guess she'd be about 2-4 years younger than Scott and Jean...

I'm not a fan of that- I view her older, but that's not that big of a deal.

I always viewed her as older then Scott, but not older then Jean. At least in the X-Movies. That's probably because Famke played Jean in the trilogy.

No Wolverine 2 please.......................

Only with Bryan Singer directing. Otherwise I won't care. At least he knows how to direct Hugh.

Why did you have to remind me of this dark time in history?

seriously, how many garbage Nicolas Cage movies have we seen in the last 6 months? 80?

*I'm still shocked to say that these are the guys playing The Blaze Ghost Rider and Nick Fury.

:whatever:

There will be no Wolverine 2. Fox should release the rights back to Marvel and Marvel should reboot the X-men franchise.

so you're the new head of FOX? :hehe:

yeah that's a good idea, FOX would totally benefit from that :whatever:

Well, I guess time will tell.

I honestly, gave my opinion based on the leaked version, but who knows. Maybe the final version will do phenomenally? I think the odds of that happening are slim, but time will tell.

And your sarcasm has been noted. I apologize if you assumed I was looking out for the best interest of Fox. I doubt they were looking out for the consumers' best interest while this movie was being developed. Continue to worship the almighty Fox.

You watched an unfinished movie and gave an absolute opinion.

I doubt you would enjoy being in Gavin Hood's shoes, or Hugh Jackman's.

You spend almost 3 years of your life developing something, training, casting, promoting - and then some deuchebag shows the public your product looking raw and undercooked.

People around here seem to have ZERO sympathy for the people behind Wolverine

So, what do you want use to do? Give fake encouraging opinions and a pat on the back for something we didn't like? I know what the saw was a very rough version, the music and effects aren't done, scenes need to be added and a few scenes might be edited.

But even after all that is done, the main plot and characterizations aren't really going to change, and that's what I have a big problem with. This movie needed a way better script and a director who can get out more of his actors.

If you hated the story, fine.

but that doesn't mean bashing it before its been released in its finished form is the right thing to do.

absolute opinions need to come AFTER May 1st, specially when May 1st might change your negative thoughts on particular characterizations in the film with the added footage.

Yet the Avengers will suck:whatever: Your own words. It is hypocrisy with some of you. People that didn't love this and have a fangasm are wrong but people that loved this and can tear down other movies to bring this further up are right:rolleyes:

You are right, I should feel sympathetic for individuals who are paid to do a job and deliver a substandard product? Especially when I am expected to pay for said product.

And the thing is, they have jobs many people would kill to have, but you want me to feel sympathetic?

Twilight Zone? Spooky....

I do not think sympathy is a word used to describe how someone feels when performance of a certain job does not meet expectation.
