I love how many are willing to condemn Burton based on still pictures on things such as how they should be lit, etc.

The lighting is correct for those saying it isn't. The light is coming from the left side and we know this because its somewhat blown out in the top left hand corner. Alice is somewhat brighter on the left than the right. Plus, who's to say what the context is of the shot? None of us know.

Burton is experienced enough to know how to talk to his cinematographer and get basic lighting correct. Let's give him a little more credit than that. He knows more about movie-making than any of us here.
the shadows are coming from the right. ok ?

Damn This movie is looking better and better every clip we see. However I fell like i'm spoiling myself watching these clips.

I definitely like the effects in that clip. Is the set cg, or real? It fits well with everything in the shot, which was my main complaint with the look.

A question to all european moviegoeers.
Has Alice In Wonderland been pulled from your cinemas. I just checked my local cinema listings and AIW has indeed been removed from all screens ( 2d , 3d and IMAX).

please tell me this wont be another Direct to DVD Disney movie... :csad:

If it is... It'll be the Best one ever made!! :woot: :wow:

ODEON cinemas in the UK had originally decided to not to show the film but now they have overturned their decision and the film is going to be shown in all UK cinemas as far as I am aware. I guess Disney have paid the cinemas to keep the film in cinemas for a shorter time than normal.

^ thank god, because AMC is the only one around me with an IMAX.

I still get the feeling that this is just Tim Burton on autopilot. But still, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Simply amazing and only 8 more days to go!! I love each clip and Anne Hathaway is just stunning in that screen shot! Did anyone catch the live stream of the London premiere today? I was watching it off and on at work and it was pretty cool!
