Looked cool as hell in 3D. The cat is even more creepy when he's literally inches from your face.
You see a test screening for this already? If so, how was the overall movie?
That's his style. What do you want? It's his trademark.Yeah this movie looks just like any other Tim Burton film, that he has made. Come on Burton don't show us the same old stuff again.
And how did you come to that conclusion?I hope to be pleasantly surprised but my gut is telling me this won't be that great. I think the makeup is wrong on Depp. I think Burton went too dark in some scenes (aesthetically). I also think miscasting took place for Alice. Hope I'm wrong![]()
I was expecting a project that is a little more unique for Burton, that could show his versitility as a director. That's his style. What do you want? It's his trademark.
Then go watch Ed Wood, Mars Attacks!, Planet of the Apes, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, etc.I was expecting a project that is a little more unique for Burton, that could show his versitility as a director.

Why wouldn't he be using his fantastical film elements in a fairytale that is pure fantasy?
I like her dark eyebrows, eyes, and lips contrasted with her light skin, hair, and clothing.
here you can see how they make 2D scenes 3D. it takes time and a lot of money.

did i already mention how stupid it is from Burton to film this movie n 2D and convert it to 3D?
he did.James Cameron actually criticised Burton for using 3D conversion rather than filming the whole film in 3D.
The stories are not made at all to be made into good movies, so, I'm expecting very little from this...Mild entertainment. Will this be 2D at ALL in theaters? I hate to say it, but if not I'm just waiting for the DVD. I refuse to pay more money to see a movie in a format I don't even want.
