Tim Roth is Emil Blonsky/Abomination in The Incredible Hulk!

I'm wondering what are the Army gonna do [blackout]with the dead body of Abomination.[/blackout]

That is well thought out. We could see a classic Abomination in a sequel then because Hulk doesn't have that many good foes.

Gamma radiation.

What if he doesn't die? I hope he doesn't, he could just be used in future movies of the franchise which would be best instead of killing him off in the first movie. Btw, if he does die for sure, you can bet your ass the military will experiment on the effects of the gamma radiation and SSS on his body. As for getting a classic Abomination, it'd be stupid, because we'd see another guy named Blonsky being changed by radiation. Face it, this is the design we were handed and it's good enough, we won't be getting a fish/lizard Abomination.

I like the re-design. I don't read comics in any shape or form so I don't care about not having a classic Abomination but I have an idea where we could have a classic Abomination in a sequel involving the Leader.

It's not going to happen, this is the Abomination, there will be no others. I love comics but I don't get to read them but I will agree that the redesign of the Abomination is better than the original.

I know it is very unlikely but it was just an idea if they wanted to bring back Blonsky for a sequel.

Nothing more than an idea.

Oh, you meant if they brought back the same Blonsky? I suppose it could work then but if anyone wants to bring in another Blonsky, they're crazy.

Even Nadia Blonsky?

You know what I meant you sly dog....:hoboj:

But how do you think they could even make him look more like classic Abomination if he does return in sequels?

Do you know how stupid that would be? That'd be like bringing in another Bruce Banner for him to become the classic Grey Hulk.

Quit acting like a prick ok.

Just read my idea ok... it is nothing more than an idea!!!

In the First Draft Banner see's that Sterns [BLACKOUT]had tested Banner's blood on animals to see what happens.[/BLACKOUT] In a sequel when Sterns is the Leader he could get hold of the [BLACKOUT]dead [/BLACKOUT]body of Abomination and [BLACKOUT]bring it back to life somehow [/BLACKOUT](yes I know it is a far stretch but it's just an idea) and then inject Abomination with a [BLACKOUT]reptilian/fish mix [/BLACKOUT]serum as the experiments Sterns [BLACKOUT]did on animals were most successful with reptiles and fish[/BLACKOUT]. Then we see Abomination mutate into a stronger and smarter classic Abomination that could be controlled by the Leader. This will show the high intelligence and technology Leader has. Leader could work in the shadows and have the Abomination cause havoc for him.

Just and idea!!!

New interview with Roth. The main points:

*He did the movie to please his sons (which he said before).
*He and a bodybuilder friend were fans of the TV show as teenagers.
*Abomination's transformation is still gradual, with make-up.
*Norton did rewrites every day.
*He stopped watching the Ang Lee film, as he didn't want to compare himself to it.
*He's unsure of whether the Abomination talks: he spoke in early drafts, but they might have removed that in the final cut.

Nobody's being a prick, it's just that bringing in another Emil Blonsky would be as stupid as introducing another Bruce Banner. As for your idea, it's all good except the Leader bringing him back to life. I would say for that the best explanation would be for the Abomination's slow healing factor to have kicked in and he's alive but no one actually knows it so the Leader acquires his body and then the rest of your idea kicks in which involves fish/reptilian DNA to make him more like classic Abomination but I think they should still retain elements of the redesign.

he's not talking about bringing in another one, its the same guy, he just lived or came back to life or something

this is pretty cool, just got it off the Punisher boards, Ray Stevenson was up for playing Blonsky at one point this is from an interview with maxim

You're about to step into another classic tough-guy role in the third attempt at a Punisher movie. How did that happen?

In a roundabout way. I was actually seen by Marvel for the nemesis [in the upcoming The Incredible Hulk]. Tim Roth got the role, but when Marvel got together a landscape for The Punisher, [director] Lexi Alexander's name came up. Kevin Feige from Marvel said that she needed to see me. She wasn't a TV watcher, so Kevin told her to watch Rome. She said, "I watched one episode. That's it. From then on you were my Punisher." But the first drafts weren't up to scratch and my agent said, "We may pass on it." Lexi is going, "No, no, no, he is not going to pass on this. This isn't going to be the script." So the journey was almost predestined.

He certainly has the look down. He might have been a good choice. It's a shame he wasn't picked...I don't have as much faith in this next Punisher film as Stevenson seems to.

I probably won't even go to see it, but I did enjoy the last Punisher movie, too bad Thomas Jane pulled out.

I haven't seen Hensleigh's from beginning to end, but it didn't make me enthusiastic about seeing anymore attempts at this character. This'll make the third time tried with the 80's version kept in mind; maybe it's about time they stopped trying.

A half Blonsky/half Abomination?

As he said, it's not what a fan would think...

I enjoyed it but it could've been a bit better, only earns a 7/10 from me. However, with all things considered, I never believed the Punisher was one of Marvel's more interesting characters.

Well, either Tim Roth recorded dialogue for the Abomination or he didn't. And it sounds like he didn't.

Well he could've recorded it and they just decided not to use it, that's why he's unsure or they'd use someone else's voice, someone with a voice that would suit the abomination design better, even though it is supposed to be the same person as blonsky.

I thinki it'd be quite easy to have the comic book, and IMO better design, in the sequel, he is only The Abomination in TIH for around 30 mins i believe, when/if the sequel comes around, they could just say Blonsky/Abom didnt really die, or the Leader brought him back to life and he just kept mutating and mutating continuously until he got to his CB form.

It is unlikely that a sequel would have the same villain. That would just be boring. X-men, Spider-man, Fantastic Four, etc. They all changed their villains. Past villains only make cameos usually. (Except for Magneto, but he's more of a logical character than just a "villain")

I just don't see why Leterrier would bother using the comic book design in the sequel when he could've easily used it in this movie.
